Seal (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.junkfood.seal/) which is basically a wrapper for YT-DLP but for Android.

    this is cool thanks

NewPipe let's you download as well as being a privacy accountless local youtube app. It's fucking amazing if you want to restrict your watch time to only what you subscribe to.

  • A password manager. Started with lastpass in 2010 something, migrated to bitwarden in 2019. Tried a handful of them but end up with bitwarden.

Mouse without borders - it's a freeware Microsoft tool that lets you use one keyboard + mouse across multiple devices on the same network.

It works perfectly across windows versions and super easy to set up.

    I prefer synergy.

Use the keyboard and mouse of one computer to control nearby computers. Copy and paste between all of your computers with shared clipboard.
Works on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Linux is a kernel, not an app.

Set ARCH=um while compiling the kernel, you get an "app". >:)

Mouse without borders does all of that - even the shared keyboard. You can also enable/disable specific machines from accessing or swap to that machine to control other machines. Very cool.

  • Things 3, a task manager, and BoltAI, an AI-enhanced productivity app, both for macOS (and Things 3 works also on iOS and IPadOS)
