Botched server delivery - what compensation is fair to ask?

You didn't respond to the point.

So was delivery actually 10 days or closer to a month? I misremembered it as "over a month" instead of "nearly a month", but still.
There was no info about compensation when you ordered. So you are not eligible for one. If service provider would agree that for every week of delay you get X - this would be different story.
If something is not on stock many things can go wrong with delivery. I be
Looks like this provider is not profesjonal at all. Move your business elsewhere
Mentally strong provider only accepts order for inventory in stock.

@yoursunny Hey , we had another server as fallback being setup within a few days so we shifted our clients there (whoever wanted to , please read my response before for the complete brief) its just there was a slight delay to my clients.
