Do you use cloudflare, and if so, do you use CF Proxying?

Hey, I’m interested to see how many people are using cloudflare, and if so, how many are using cloudflare proxy/MITM. Feel free to comment below ![]()
Even if you’re not using cloudflare feel free to let me know what you’re using for your website, I’m very interested in hearing any alternatives.

I use it for fast DNS. The proxy is a bonus but not something I rely on.
CF without proxy for most of my domains.
CF tunnels for some hosts
We use Zero Trust Tunnel.
Proxy must be activated for the tunnel to work.
Yes, I use Cloudflare DNS for all my domains and I subscribe to PRO for some sites. It's really great, I can sleep easy knowing that no L7 will take down my services
I use them because they're my domain registrar. But I don't use firewall.
I didnt think about this option, because its a stupid one.
sorry!
true
I manage some domains with CF. Some use proxy and WAF, some only use it as DNS only/non-proxy. WAF really helps to fights nasty bots.
All in. Workers are really great for offload some tasks.
I was thinking of adding this a specific option, but I didnt think many people actually used it too much.
is it any good, what're your thoughts?
my gay porn website is behind cf proxy but you can still find my servers ip on censys idk why

mind sending the link?
thanks.
When initially building the website, you can first configure settings to block services like Censys. Once you start using Cloudflare (CF), enable the CF proxy directly when setting up IP resolution. This won't affect later SSL certificate applications. This way, Censys won't be able to find your IP — though this only means it won't appear in their database. However, keep in mind that applying for an SSL certificate can still expose the origin IP.

Stop… you don’t want to see my dark side 😈
Block censys is just hiding from one spot, there're bunch other similar services that do the same(Though censys auto rotate expired scan from public). You need to recheck you config.
Before publish, config your server to silently drop any http connection using only ip address. For https set up a fake ssl or just reject ssl handshake. You can also harden this by add a secret header with cloudflare mitm and only process the request on your server with such header.
Super bot fighting mode am I right?
Well if you have simple particular needs.
I use it to proxy github, proxy file download from forbidden sites, accelrate downloads from cloud disk providers.
I also use it to fetch and add content to my sites where data provider backend do not have guest access(i have to provide my read-only token in a worker and fetch the content for me)
Anyway workers can do almost anything as it have lighter restricts than nodejs(though some std api are not supported and must use 3rd party lib or polyfill)
I only use Cloudflare for DNS purposes (DNS-only, no proxy).
I use cloudflare to bypass censorship, use it to proxy my traffic
The orange cloud thingy in dns?
Yes i use for all domains except links to provider like webmail or directadmim.
I want hide my vps ip but i dont care about exposing ip that is not mine lolz
I use Cloudflare DNS, proxy, and worker, it is great.
I'm using CloudFlare DNS (With CDN) and CloudFlare VPN, both are working very well in Vietnam.
Using on some sites, but not primarily. Also love CF Pages, fast and free !
CF does not allow proxies now.
I am using Cloudflare on all of my domains. I am using Cloudflare mostly for DNS because it's one of the fastest in the world and also free. I want to mention that most of websites are proxied through them just because I kinda like to "hide" the IP from the rest of the world and also using WAF for some websites.
I don't know if I am doing good, I am not having any domain registered by them because I don't want to have all my eggs in one basket.
For some days I am really thinking to move to Bunny because they got Shield now, DNS is pretty good and it has a generous free tier and also CDN is faster than Cloudflare. The only concern for me is in case of any DDoS which is not mitigated by them, is mandatory to pay for that bandwith or usage which I kinda don't like. On Cloudflare I don't have that feeling. Also, I love the Bunny support.
yes it does when using Flexible SSL
CF Proxied Mode ---> Proxy IP -----> Real IP
When any abuse report hits, it will hit proxy IP not real IP
there are many services like dnsproxy.org
