Nah they ran that promotion December last year: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/200349/24h-limited-nvme-storage-deals-in-eu-apac-and-us/p1
They probably just don't have excess capacity to run another one a.t.m

Maybe they could do it for Europe countries like Amsterdam. Asia probably harder to do since it's more expensive than other regions

I need to add 2-4 cores to my existing 4C32G server, but the ticket does not allow it. 4C cores are not enough for 32G memory. I ignored this problem when I purchased it.

@barbaros said: A question, it doesn't really matter but is bandwith pooling a thing for Stockholm location? I have VPS and Storage VPS in same location and their BW is displayed separately (quite normal). Just wondered if it's supported for everywhere or if that's in beta stage also.

It's supported everywhere and is enabled "per account" at the moment, while in beta. It should work for you in either all locations, or none.

How to enable this function? I have many similar servers in Hong Kong.

  • Raise a ticket to enable bandwidth pooling. Mine was done in less than a minute.

Not sure I understood, but geography says Singapore is much closer to India than Europe/US. However, sometimes routing is f'ed by ISPs, so they route India to Singapore traffic via Europe/US sometimes. But you could check your routing to/from their Singapore/US servers from their looking glass. It's under features/Data centers page, I think.

If you are from south India, likely better latency to Singapore, and if you are from West/North, you may be better served by their Europe locations, considering Singapore is not cheap. You'll know by testing against their lg.

As for their product, the storage servers are for storage purposes. They expect the cores to do nothing except bit pushing. You may get away with a bit more, but pushing the cores like in a VPS/dedi is likely going to get you a boot. Having said that, I don't think they have an unfair policy, and they are well priced. Regarding the product itself, if you pay the yearly price, you get the specs listed. If you however choose a longer term as specified, they reward you with a bonus they specified. It doesn't need a ticket and is automatic.

    Hope this helps.

I mean, 8C32G or 16C32G is a more reasonable combination

As a number of people have asked - we will reactivate some of these deals on 11th May, for 24 hours. Nothing new/fancy/crazy, but in case you missed them the last time, please grab one during these 24 hours.

    When does it start?

  • @ieeci said: When does it start?

I missed last offers, which are too expensive $60 for 3 years.
Maybe $20 per year is more affordable, anyway let's see what to come.

I am not sure if you think these deals, that are an extension of the deals on 11th April, will be better than the ones at that time (which was actually our 14th anniversary). If anything, they will have a slight mark up in pricing. If you are expecting a better deal than the OP (11th April), you may be out of luck. Sorry. Just setting correct expectations as people tend to get offended/disappointed.

These should be live in about ~7 hours. Will expire 24 hours after that, meanwhile some limited ones will go out of stock earlier. No further extremely discounted promotions until at least Black Friday (or a bit earlier with our release of our new panel - but they will likely be just a % off on our standard plans).

We just spent months re-writing our new snapshots (that is nearly perfectly doing what we want it to do). Snaps are available in all those regions. Please contact support if you see any issues.

Cannot promise, but but most likely no. We will see what capacity we have. Anyway, flash deals are announced in advance so everyone has an equal chance.

Will we have cheap low spec Tokyo KVMs in those flash deals? I'm about to dump DDPS as I could be spending the same for more (and return as a hosthatch customer, if you remember I was waiting for the right deals... With some support ;) )

To order, please go to https://cloud.hosthatch.com/sale/current-promotions

All sales are final. We cannot change with another service. We do not provide refunds (or credits) for these plans. Please make sure you are absolutely sure before placing an order.

    What is the setup time?

The setup time is 5 working days (1 week). Most will get delivered much earlier. Some may get slightly delayed. Please order one of the packages from hosthatch.com directly if immediate provisioning is needed. We cannot offer faster provisioning on special plans. >

    Are smaller plans available?

Unfortunately no. Over the past few years, we have adjusted our offerings, to the point where we can maintain very high quality, performance and uptime at a fair price point.
    > We no longer aim for the ultra low spec/price deadpool deals.

    Is BGP available?

Yes, we offer BGP with a $10 USD setup fee per location, and no monthly recurring fee.

    Is IPv6 available?

Routed /64 per VM is available in all locations and can be enabled from the control panel.

Are there any other differences between our normal and discounted plans?

Yes, primarily our support. It can take several days to resolve issues, especially issues that require complex investigation. Please choose one of the services from hosthatch.com directly for production usage, with access to our normal support queue. Our promotional services are provided at near-cost pricing to fill up excess capacity and should be used accordingly. We also do not offer location migrations and/or other flexibilities on these
    > plans.

There is no difference in the quality of the servers itself - as we use the same backend, enterprise hardware and excellent monitoring for all of our services. We run a standardized and redundant Juniper based network in all of our locations, which allows us to deliver excellent uptime and network performance.

What networks and datacenters do you use?

Please view https://www.hosthatch.com/features/ for Datacenters, looking glasses and test files

One of the things that differentiates us from most of the providers here is that we have redundancy at each setup. We connect to at least two separate upstreams in each location, so we can be online even if one of our upstreams is completely offline. Ask your provider if they have this.

Why is X location/offer not available?

We have more excess capacity in some locations as compared to others. Unfortunately, once it is sold out, it is sold out, and we cannot change this. There is a limited amount of capacity available in each location. We don't sell snake oil, we tell you upfront that this is a once a year special offer, that will not be available again any time soon.

Can I change my server with the X offer?

Unfortunately no. All sales are final, and we cannot offer any changes to them. We cannot replace one pending service with another. We also do not provide any refunds for pending orders. Please make sure you are 100% sure before placing an order, as there is very limited capacity available.

These deals will be available until 15th of April, 2025. Some of the deals/locations may go out of stock earlier, and will not be restocked.

We will be offering a flash sale on Sunday, 13th April on 17:00 CEST. It will include some smaller servers (NVMe and Storage) in certain locations.

Congrats HostHatch on 14 incredible years! 🎉 Your commitment to quality and performance really shows — wishing you continued success ahead.

Speaking of birthdays, today also happens to be a special day for a close friend of mine. I just shared a heartfelt message on my site to celebrate her — if anyone’s looking for warm, genuine messages to make her day, here are some beautiful wishes з днем народження жінці. 💐

Looking forward to checking out these new NVMe deals — they’re a steal!
