Thanks. That page shows neither mail hosting in general nor webmail in particular. Correct?
Correct, we'll add some probes for it, we'll see how we can track multiple ports without it getting spammy as hell.

What's your take on https://github.com/joeyates/imap-backup compared with offlineimap3?
Never seen it before, have been using offlineimap since the Python2 days so didn't bother changing.
Looking at imap-backup's docs - it doesn't seem to use the maildir format (which I'd prefer since it's non-proprietary) - do you know what format it uses? How you do you find it, if you use it?
It works fine for my purpose, but I don't have gigantic mailboxes. And it uses the mbox format which can be directly open as a mailbox by most email clients (as well as text-searched). For maildir I believe you need a local installation of an IMAP server, which is what gave me pause using it...
I will check it out, thanks for the heads up
Been using namecrane mail, going strong so far, any issues i have is quickly fixed
Looking forward to see the EU launch asap
Incoming emails are getting stuck in the SpamExperts queue and are only being delivered after about an hour. I’ve already submitted a support ticket but haven’t received a response yet.
Whats your ticket ID?
I must've missed it. I'll go look for the log jam.

Should be all sorted. Going to be pushing a fix to (hopefully) sort it.

Thanks Francisco. I'm currently using CraneMail only as a backup. Message receipt is still inconsistent with the few test emails I’ve sent to check Namecrane’s responsiveness. Plus addressing with catch-all aliases remains limited.
Do you have a ticket about either? Incoming is fast when things don't get jammed. There's a proposed fix for the jamming i'll be testing tonight.
For the catch-all, let me know.
Francisco
@NameCrane I am really interested in your EU hosting, but may I ask, does this mean that you are filtering after you received the mail a.k.a. sent 250 to the sending server?
Ticket #CRANE-11131 - Catch-all and Plus Addressing
The filtering happens on the SpamExperts nodes and it'll reject/etc there - once it's clear it gets delivered back to the main mail server. That separate queue for accepted mail is where the pileup has been periodically.
@Francisco and I have some ideas on what it might be and are testing a few things.
hi @NameCrane , how long is my mail service is up since order?
here is my inv number 26062
Hey Mike - any update on when EU will launch? It felt imminent a week or two ago, not so much anymore. Any (approximate?) timeframe?
Trying to understand the same.
I rely on this before considering other plans
Next week for sure, 100%. We're trying to sort out the remaining cPanel node migrations, since we want to flip over the whole network to NL first before going live.
Anybody has issues receiving emails on either webmail (https://us1.workspace.org/), IMAP, MAPI / EWS? I am getting all sorts of error messages ("Server_not _responding...", "Too_many_login_attempts...", "Unable to create a secure connection to the server", etc) on both iOS, MacOS and webmail
@Francisco - Ticket #CRANE-11660
Been just fine here.
Can you PM me what domain you're having the issue on? As well as your IP and i'll check the firewall.
Francisco
Fine here
this is the week
Thanks! Firewall might definitely be a possible cause, as my iOS clients report the "Unable to create a secure connection to the server..."
If you don't mind checking, I added the domains and IP to the ticket rather than a PM here. I also got a reply from your support to try again, but there was no difference
I noticed the iOS mail client was briefly able to access the account after you unblocked, but is now blocked again. MacOS mail uses MAPI / EWS password and it doesn't even report an error, just sits there quietly reporting no new mail
Do you think it's worth keep trying the unblock, or should I try and get a new IP from my ISP (hope I can do that)
My guess would be one of your clients has a bad password and needs to be updated.
EWS is claiming 401, which is bad auth.
Francisco
The firewall keeps blocking me, as I just retried with a different IP address. This is all personal email and I'm using the EWS password on MacOS mail, I just can't think of any reason why a password would go bad on its own. I haven't touched this since initially configured little over a month ago...
I also added some information to the ticket re: password incident on March 28 as well as what you deemed as a bug on Apr. 10 - password requirements mismatch between webmail, IMAP and MAPI / EWS. Could any of this play any role?
Good chance it does . I would set a new password or readd the account to outlook/emclient.
Can you login to webmail with the login/password?
Francisco
