I had a long conversation with him a few years ago over the phone, whatever he's trying to do I'm pretty sure he has good intentions, as I said I never had any issues I still have one VPS even though I'm not really using it every time I check it it's running, but it will start to get more use in a few weeks I got things I need to set up

I try remember but i cant. When was that? Are you dennis? Did you brought that Supermicro server to the DC with that other guy i met? there was some from LET but i am not sure

In December of 2021 I bought this server:

Below was the first message we had together regarding that server there was about 30 messages in total and finally you talked to me on the phone and it was a long conversation you were talking to me about how The 95th percentile of usage thing works, the server only came with 25 terabytes of bandwidth and I didn't realize it till after I bought it that that was not going to be enough and you help me you made me a reasonable offer, you really nice guy and I appreciate your help

Below is the first message of about 30 in December of 2021

    painfreepc December 2021

Right, right. I’ll be here in a couple months when dude deadpools.

I’ve got around 44 servers with this guy and have been waiting about two weeks for three more to be delivered. He can be a bit slow sometimes, but he always gets the job done. It’s just one guy running everything, and he’s one of the few who I actually stay in touch with through chat so I know what he does behind the scenes. You would wanna see how hard he works, late nights at the data center, staying in hotels for the passed 2 weeks, waiting for hardware deliveries, setting things up himself. Just last night, he sent me pictures and videos of over 30 blades he was setting up by hand and transporting in his own car. People need to understand that he also handles custom orders and builds special blade servers for other hosting companies. I do notice he’s slower when it comes to VPS orders or the special deals posted on LET, but that’s not my concern. From what I’ve seen, he focuses more on blade servers and the bigger market he has multiple providers that have servers and depend on him, and I’ll guarantee you he’s not short on money and dead pooling is out of any scenario. He’s been expanding capacity and investing and those that know him personally will know how things evolved in the last year alone. Things that many don’t have any idea what’s going on behind on the scenes. Many people have insisted he hire a tech team to help with support, but he seems to prefer doing everything himself. Honestly, he could easily support himself just by selling dedicated servers alone and still, I strongly agree, if he’s going to offer VPS deals, he should improve his support or be more communicative but that’s kinda difficult when he’s working at the same time but he may need to as it’s one of the only negatives that’s pulling him down but his services are very premium.

If you would write this story before the offer was finished I would get one for sure. Didn’t know it’s so hard working guy running this company.

Wow that explains why he gets such harsh comments from people, I thought that was something that was generally known that this is a one-man operation and the server I purchased in 2021 I think I had it for about a year never had one issue I should have kept it because I said I may go ahead and get this $185 deal and I've definitely keeping that one

Two days after deadline and no one has posted yabs yet. The only way this seems possible is if none have been deployed.

Pro tip: Advertise 3x as long as you think it will take so even if you take twice as long as planned you can still be ahead of schedule.

My grammar was correct, you just changed the phrasing. You can write things many ways and it can still be correct.

Though, in natural English you’ll always use can’t rather than can not. Especially in American English. That part of yours is incorrect.

Can one transfer a service that is pending?

  • @HostSlick any reason to stay silent on this? I (and I would assume many others as well) have no problem with delayed delivery (heck since I have so much to do this whole week, any day later is a free extension for my order), but I have to admit that even a short message "might take some additional days" is sufficient enough for everyone to know.

Silent otoh is a little weird, especially when chitchatting after the assumed delivery date in your own thread?
I have been a customer a couple of years ago already, so I'll definitely trust him with everything of that. But I'd admit that it appears unprofessional, for me at least a tad unexpected.
