Paid throuth Alipay but I got "Login Failed" every time I try to login, email verification was finished, forgot password page says "We could not find a user with such information, or, this user has been suspended." Please help me solve this, thanks.

Let me know if you haven't receive the proper information yet. All accounts are manually verified, thus, you won't be able to log in right away.

But as far as I can see, all orders received during the last few hours have been approved.

True :) In the data center industry, we tend to keep servers around for a long time, unless you are Google/AWS, etc, who are constantly pushing for power efficiency per compute cycle and where physical space can be limited.

We use Supermicro servers, which are designed to run non stop for 10, 15 even up to 20 years (we have one around that is 17 years old, actually).

We started this generation of servers with dual Intel E5-2620v3 processors, with 12 cores total, and 128GBs of RAM. As time goes by and we need more resources, we simply swap out the CPU and RAM.

We are now at 512GB to 1TB of RAM per hypervisor, with up to dual 22 core CPUs with the Intel E5-2699a v4, the most powerful in the line.

If you need more computing power, you can simply throw more cores into the same CPU socket.

No need to throw out perfectly good servers. :)

What matters is that there is no CPU steal time; we have enough CPU power to handle our customer base without ever reaching 100% CPU usage.

We also have Xeon Golds that are 1 or 2 generations newer. And we do hope to offer newer EPYC CPUs in the future, but of course, those will be more expensive.

Which CPU you would prefer and at what price range? Your feedback would be helpful. :)

We promise to always make sure there is no CPU steal time. If we see that in a specific region most of our HVs are already at 50% total CPU usage, we will immediately start building and installing more servers before it gets worse.

We are also willing to stop taking new clients if we feel our existing client base may start seeing degradation in service.

I 100 percent agree. Frankly, fuck the disposable, throwaway, consumerist attitudes some fools harbour.

I prefer a choice of different CPUs in terms of quality and quantity, and appreciate not having to overpay for something because of the (misguided) attitude of others.

They seem to have a good reputation and have been around for a long time.
Unfortunately, the processors used are not brand new. I might be interested though.
Are there any long-standing customers who could give feedback?

I've been a customer for just a few months. I imagine that to be the case for anyone on LET, since the provider is here only since September last. Like you say, they've been around for a long time, though.

I find the CPUs fine for my use case. I can confirm that they remain as effective as when I placed my order, no CPU steal, no downtime.

The only thing I wish is that their 2.4 Ghz processors were not limited to 2.1 Ghz (presumably done for parity with the 2.1 Ghz processors). Personally, I'd be fine with the gamble of paying for 2.1 Ghz and possibly ending up with 2.4 Ghz rather than a certain 2.1 Ghz.

Thank you for the good review!

The E5-2699a v4 CPUs are not limited to 2.1Ghz though. But in some hypervisors, we still have hypervisors with the E5-2683v4 processor at 2.1Ghz.

If you open a ticket, we can live migrate your VM to the 2.4Ghz processors.

We are still in the process of replacing all of our E5-2683v4 CPUs...
