The specs and price is similar with LET2-DISK1 but with 200GB less storage ( LET2-BAND1 has 100GB and LET2-DISK1 has 300GB )

It is 4GB... LET-DISK1 has more disk space, less RAM, and LET-RAM1 has more RAM (8GBs) and less disk space.
Yes, the reasoning is that you get to choose what you need... the LET-DISK plans have more disk space, less RAM, while the LET-RAM packages have more RAM, less space...
