Is Atomic Networks (atomicnetworks.co) about to rug pull, or have they already made a run for it?
About a month ago, my Chicago Premium KVM VPS from Atomic Networks started acting up big time. The server became painfully slow and laggy, with ping times shooting up into the thousands—yes, four digits!—and massive packet loss to boot.
To make matters worse, trying to reinstall the OS through their control panel just results in a "failed" message every single time.
I submitted a support ticket via their official support page over a month ago, but I've heard absolutely nothing back. No response, no fixes—nothing.
At this point, I'm seriously wondering: is Atomic Networks planning to bail, or have they already ghosted us?

@Atomic_Networks ?
read your post out loud and then decide, does this sound like a failing provider?

My english accent is so thick I can't understand myself while reading. Am I the failing provider?
if something else is thicker, then you're not failing
my idling vps has cpu steal where there were none before, so I'd say he's loading all the passengers on as few ships as possible before he sinks them all.
They have a discord server, you could check that.
Going to beat @cybertech to the punch this time.
Chargeback yesterday
But grab all your data (if you even can) before doing so. A host that goes dead silent while there are problems is one I would jump ship off of before they sink.
It's not sounding good
Thank you!
Does that means they never respond to tickets and only post information on Discord?
I have no idea, I've never been their customer.
But in my experience, any host with a discord usually uses it as their main hub of communications. At the very least you can see what other customers are saying.
Tried to contact @imanoob2000 on discord, however, so far, no response...
From my experience, any host with an official discord is incompetently run and deadpools in due time. Two hosts I used that deadpooled just so happened to use discord for everything, whereas hosts that don’t have a discord are still kicking well to this day.
Just my personal observation. I stay away from hosts that use discord just from my own bad experience. Good to see that this host also fits that trendline.
Good for you but not the customers
I dislike discord, however I must admit that its' chat moderation capabilities and roles are the most advanced comparing to other popular IM, and it makes discord attractive for managing communities. But IMHO this is the only advantage of discord amongst many downsides it has (at least for me personally).
@crunchbits
Most hosts that use discord use it as their main platform for everything, likely since they are so bare bones basement run that they don’t have an actual staff manning their operations. I just can’t really help but notice that many hosts that burn down also relied heavily on discord as their core operation, which makes me think that they are run by children or college dropouts or the like. Path/Tempest notably comes to mind. Their network goes out (due to unpaid bills) and there is no notice anywhere except in their discord.
Of course there are always exceptions but I just turn myself off from any host that shills their discord server as the primary source to get information from them. It’s alright if it’s a secondary disposable platform that is fully optional to use, since it’s good PR to keep yourself accessible wherever your clients may be, but it’s a red flag if your hosting business is run off of discord as a core infrastructure component.
They don’t have it prominently linked on their website (at least, not that I was able to see on the mobile site) so they are OK in my books. I was largely referring to hosts that go “join our discord to get updates” and basically run their whole business off of it. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.
So did anyone check their discord?
It's not work on discord!
They didn't give any clear answer, nor did they intend to solve the problem...
Well what did they say?
well to add up to this i have a vps there running minimal stuff and got the "traffic limit" email from them and was weird since i had likeno traffic at all for several months, and got to 1TB tthis month and when resetted on 24 has now 500GB already again so i just rebuild it and erased everything, turned it up and was doing it again, i just shutdown and waiting for a answer to the ticket (1 week of ticket as passed)
Seems like dead provider please give us Feedback If they anwser.
Cancelled my couple of VPS from Atomic Networks on renewal this month. (last years summer deal). Had been OK but had some high pings over the last month or so. Had to attempt rebuild multiple times before cancelling. Somethings not right, looking like a dead pool as @Atomic_Networks havent replied
little update, no response from them ticket auto closed so safe to assume its dead i guess
He's been arrested twice in the past week according to reports.
They nuked themselves
What
You can't slam this just like that without proper suplementation with relevant sources.
He has said it himself on his streams that he was arrested and is hiring a lawyer. Though he just deleted the videos on the Atomic youtube. Some are on here though: https://www.twitch.tv/imanoob2000?sr=a
Video & timestamp?
I’m not sitting for 3h+ watching a guy in a US-onepiece having a phone call and listening to questionable music
He says in this his mom is threatening to call the cops on him because he’s manic:

Then in this at like 6 minutes in, he says that he and his father pushed each other and he spent 10 hours in jail:
