Okay, opened a ticket and they said it isn't possible, basically retroactively changing the TOS/contract without even bothering to inform the customer; while that may be legal (no idea about US laws), it IMHO isn't nice at all (just to clarify, I have absolutely no problem with the no-transfers rule, that is nice and fine, I just have something against simply changing the policies for servers that were bought with the knowledge that one has the possibility to transfer it to someone else).
Well, learned my lesson, should have listened to my gut feeling, cancelled both of my servers with GreenCloud and certainly will never buy again from them (not only because of this, also some other things, would have cancelled them anyway, just thought it would be nice to maybe transfer it to someone interested instead of simply shutting it down while it's paid until 2026 (would even have transferred it for free)).
But I know that many here like them, and I don't want to make a drama out of this/make this bigger than it is, and their megathread certainly was nice, so I'll just leave it at that. This will be my only comment on this (unless maybe if someone replies to this).
