    We have no problem upgrading people to lifetime deals where they just pay the difference.

    In this case, he's "trialing" the $20/3y, and in the next few days/weeks they may opt to go to the LT plan.

    We've done it many times.

  • What happened if I decide to upgrade from 250G to 500G lifetime. When I paid for the upgrade, does the storage increase right away, or do I need to contact support? Don't need to upgrade now, but I might need to in the future.

    Once the order is approved (if you’re premier it’s automatic) then it’ll just show up :)

    Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me? Messages take much longer to arrive via IMAP compared to webmail. I haven’t had this issue with Purelymail or MXroute. Auto-forwarding also seems to be inconsistent. Could this delay have something to do with SpamExperts?

    I’ll have to temporarily switch back to my other email host for now.

    For iPhone imap does 15 minute polls, so you’ll want to use “exchange” instead.

    On Android (Fairemail, Thunderbird) and Desktop (Thunderbird). Takes too long to receive mails, like more than 2 to 3 minutes. Sometimes I have to manually sync to receive messages. All my other accounts configured in those apps sync just fine. IMAP server is us1.workspace.org, SpamExperts is on.

    Not an email guy, but doesn't imap idle make it so messages should be received near instantly? 15 minutes polling is pointless.

    I come from BlackBerry then gmail, so polling and waiting is not something I've ever had to deal with.

    Any delay more than 15 seconds is unusable to me and many others.

    If you don't support imap idle, I think I wasted my lifetime purchase.

    we support it, but IOS Mail doesn't. It supports 'fetch' which is the 15 minute timer, and 'PUSH' which relies on either Apple's proprietary tech, or EAS.

    Out of interest have you added a Purelymail account under Smartermail SMTP/Mail fetch? I've been trying to figure out why it doesn't work, but would be neat to know if its just me

    @mw: I set up Purelymail to forward all emails to NameCrane, but I'm having trouble getting emails reliably when NameCrane is the main MX. I even tried deleting the other MX records, but delivery is still hit-or-miss. Tried turning off Split MX too. Had to switch back to MXroute and Purelymail for now. Maybe a ticket could help with your issue 😊. I'm still figuring out SmarterMail and SpamExperts 😅.

    I've had a ticket open and Mike thinks its Purelymail blocking Namecrane's IP, but Purelymail is taking their sweet time replying to my request to unblock so I'm also doing forwards for now
