what in the fuck is this

  • AstroAstro Member

what the fuck happened here? I am scared to even look what I've missed.

I've truly tried to get a service with @host_c on so many occassions. Won a VPS finally last BF. I remember a time when he didnt support paypal (not sure if its still the case) but kept trying to pay for a limited storage VPS that apparently is now the rabbit that people are after. The payment never went through.

getting GB6 to run on an Athlon should be an achievement in itself

An old PC I got recently, even with floppy disk drive (~150 floppys were included), and a nice fast 500 GB IDE HDD (it does have SATA support though).

I am fine with the current state... or at least something that doesn't involve sacrificing much resources. The proposed spec is combining 14 VPS into 2 VPS, but only choosing one of the specs from each of them.

For example you are proposing me combining 6 x VPS (each at $10/yr or lower, with specs up to 2C4G80G2TB) to the following: 2C4G120G5TB (Ryzen) at ~$10/yr

That doesn't sounds like a good deal and I lose like 3 IPv4? Not sure how the math works to begin with...

Actually did that already (with only 1M test size of course), gets nice 2-3 IOPS, will re-run it now because I don't have the exact results anymore...

Never, ever, combine multiple VPS into one. There's that very old saying: don't keep all your eggs in one basket.

Some people start losing sight of the ball here - the reasons why we idle low-end VPS to begin with.

Why would you run?! Nobody is chasing you. On the contrary: providers want to give you VPS.
