    I don't think labze ever sleeps... the phone beeping every minute of the night with new tickets to answer, the monitoring alarms going off, unexpected invoices popping up in the mailbox... you don't need a geiger counter to feel the heat of that stress.

    “Think before you order” you have no time for that. Between the time you realize the deal has dropped and the site being hammered, you have at most 5 seconds to read the specs and make up your mind, even less if you already were a minute late to the deal being dropped.

    This is on top of people in Asia and half of Europe being unable to get anything since most deals drop after they are asleep. It’s really Americans that have been the main benefactor as the deals dropped at sane hours for them.

    If this was done like HostHatch where the deal time was clearly broadcast and people had a fixed amount of time to order, then I agree with all your points. Even so, HostHatch still allows service transfers of their flash deals anyway.

    Not that I’m criticizing @labze or anyone else (they are the provider, they make their own rules) but I do pity those in APAC who really want a deal, and see the no-transfer rule a bit too draconian for that reason.

    No refunds and limit of 1 per account are perfectly sensible restrictions even in spite of all of the above.

    It's a fact that the timezone is weeding out most of the people in Asia specifically. I am in ASIA right now and I've given up on deals because in all the past days, the deals came when all were asleep here.

    If one wants to give a fair chance, then let the time be known beforehand. If there is scalper, then be it. But that would give some asian people tiny bit of chance to grab SOMETHING. I HATE scalper but if the alternative is this, then I will try my chance against a scalper than against a deal which will come at a very unfavorable time.

    It's a different thing when you know that a deal will come. There may not be at all that day.

    You are right. Most lightning transactions occur when Asians are sleeping, so the opportunity is almost zero.
    In addition, flash transactions that cannot be transferred are also a big problem. You cannot think carefully when buying Flashdeal, if not that opportunity will pass immediately. But nothing guarantee you will be satisfied after buying it. That is the problem!
