DAvide SAlvatore BOccone, is my name and surname
I thought it was a Bantu word, like Ubuntu or something.
No brother, it was by chance that I came up with Dasabo, I was in a brainstorming moment and found in Dasabo everything I was looking for, simple to remember, only 6 letters, uncommon and mine.
Salvatore Ganacci?
Im not a DJ xD
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my experience with this service provider. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing:
I purchased a server from them under the VPS Wood plan, a very basic tariff.
I set up the server, but didn't use it for many months at all.
Then, out of the blue, the service was terminated.
The explanation I received from them was as follows: Your service has been terminated for violating two points of our terms and conditions:
Engaging in Mail Spam.
Using Proxy services, which are not allowed.
I want to clarify that I never installed anything remotely related to these. As far as I recall, all I had on the server was Docker and a www server.
If someone can terminate your server for no valid reason, it’s concerning—especially if you were storing something important. Thankfully, I didn’t have anything critical on it.
Yes, we believe you.
Looks good! I find it looking very similar to dan.com!
So, whoever wants to use this server provider, better stay away from it. The guy is very unprofessional and seems to be engaging in dodgy practices.
He claims to have a report for abuse but doesn’t want to share even a piece of information about it—and he blames me for it. I have no idea how spam and proxy could be connected to this issue. I never installed anything even remotely close to that—no mail server, no proxy server.
All he says is: He will talk only if a lawyer gets involved.
But he knows very well that hiring a lawyer would cost much more than the server itself. However, he should first provide some evidence, rather than make baseless accusations.
Then he suddenly changes the subject and says: you need to do KYC. Maybe he thinks that aggressively demanding KYC should sound like a threat. I don’t know, lol.
I don’t mind doing anything required if the counterparty is a legitimate company. But this one seems to be truly dodgy. He is so aggressive in his communication, and he doesn’t care about his reputation.
So, basically, here’s his approach:
He offers cheap hosting, then out of the blue, he terminates it and keeps whatever you paid for it. Even if it’s just a few euros, if he does this to many clients, he probably makes a profit this way.
Quite a nice business model from him.
I’ll let go of those few euros, but I hope my feedback here will help people NOT TO USE this service provider and avoid wasting money on it.
Hello,
You spoke with me on live chat, during which you repeatedly called me an idiot, despite the fact that I remained respectful toward you. I have already explained several times that we do not terminate servers randomly; there must be serious reasons for doing so, which is indeed the case here.
I asked you five times whether you were willing to complete the KYC process, as required by European regulations. During our conversation, I verified that your account contains completely false personal information, and that you have consistently used a VPN to access our services, thus attempting to obscure your identity.
Each time I asked, instead of giving a clear answer, you diverted the conversation elsewhere.
That being said, we are not going to hold a trial on LET, and I have no intention of continuing this conversation here. You have every legal means available to defend your position, if you believe you have a valid one.
I even offered — choosing to trust your claim that you hadn’t used the service for months, although our logs show otherwise — to reinstate your service free of charge upon completion of the KYC. Yet again, you avoided answering my straightforward questions.
As I already mentioned, I will not be continuing this discussion with you.
I wish you all the best.

I never installed anything even closely connected to that—no mail server, no proxy server, nothing like that. Maybe his network got hacked? IDK:)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it, I looked at the site you shared and honestly I don't find many similarities LOL
.
This is an absolutely false accusation.
Yes, you do terminate a service randomly, and this is proof of it. I didn't install anything like you said (no MTA server, no proxy server).
Be transparent—show the installed software on the server. And you will see that it is impossible for the rdesktop and www-server to have created some abuse. It's either an error on your side, or it was hacked during the time I didn't use it.
I called you what I called you. Out of the blue, you block the server and aggressively accuse and blame the client. My reaction was straightforward. You are not polite, and you should learn how to talk to clients.
I am neither the first nor the last one. I have already seen some comments on this forum about the level of support you provide, so your reputation is already very bad.
Again, as I mentioned, KYC should not sound like a threat. It is absolutely normal. I can verify my identity via a third party—no problem. And I didn't post any fake or false information, as you said. I used my real address and provided my first name. You asked for an ID. As mentioned, it is ok with me I can do it.
But you should not block or terminate the server just for verifying the ID. It is insane; what if there was something important on it?
If you want to retain and maintain your client base, you should definitely learn how to talk to your clients.
Dasabo OU seems to be a one-person company, or at least one person there handles all the support, writes on this forum, etc.
BUT IT IS NOT A RELIABLE SERVICE AT ALL.
@Dasabo so you do KYC after your terminate the accounts? Why don't you do KYC before order is active?
Smels like take money from obscure orders.
Your interpretation is wrong.
We do not ask for KYC to all customers is not an automatic process, this does not mean that the customer can enter false data intentionally to obscure their personal details, we ask for KYC in particular cases or when we deem it most appropriate.
Stop spreading these baseless accusations about false data. I provided accurate details—including my address, email, and phone number—and can verify them through a trusted third party if required.
Terminating my account arbitrarily is completely unacceptable. As a hosting provider operating under EU law (specifically, the E-Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC and the Digital Services Act), you are legally obligated to present clear, verifiable evidence before making any claims of abuse, such as mail spam or unauthorized proxy use. Without concrete proof, your allegations are entirely unfounded.
I have submitted a support ticket No. 298137 demanding that you either supply definitive evidence or initiate an immediate internal investigation into the matter. Provide the evidence and a full list of the software installed on my VPS, or grant me access to obtain that information.

Curious as to why you're blocking iCloud Private Relay connections?
If the problem persists, contact Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet (TTJA) aka Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority. They may be able to help resolve the issue and also help prevent the company from encountering similar problems in the future (if the fault was on the service provider's side).
