@barbaros @barbarza are you two related or something?
Aren’t we all brothers (and sisters) here?
yeah we are each other's alt account.
Pretty amazing. Had a great time. Might have have had a couple more drinks than anticipated. All good though.
Kid staying over with grandparent, total freedom.
$50
I am tbh... It's a justified ban though.
Koningsdaag party?
$25
Fixed that for you. I did not miss the 5TB SAS Storage.
Yeah, it's our biggest celebration of the year. I like it better than new years tbh, cos the weather is great, chilling with friends and family. Having drinks, great food on every corner of the street.
Great excuse to look silly as long as you're dressed in orange.... It's Epic.
I wish many countries in EU had a king. At least there would not be so much corruption.
0.69/y seems more appropriate... I would only need 0.69TB storage though. Unixsock dont take up a lot of storage.
It does.. Depend... we have a king but he has zero actual power. It does bring the nation closer together though. On 'koningsdag' everything goes. Nobody cares.
Yea i was laying in my bed in Eygelshoven from a hard day and i started notice some Fireworks as Well lol
Seems i Drive Back too early from Westerland. Should have visited Amsterdam for party.
Didnt know this celeberation day Until recently there
It's old from before our current kind succeeded out queen. Pretty much sums it up though
Sorry, random question. Is it easy to live in the Netherlands if you only speak English?
Next time you visit NL, make sure to attend the festivities. Its's chill. People in a good mood, like I said, everything goes as long as it's fun and harmless.
Starts the night before, goes on all night, hangover on the the day itself, then pony up and party on
Yes, most people speak English. On most primary schools kids are being taught English from 1st or second grade.
Like, I mean, I have a 7 year old... And a German sister in law. Kid not fluent in English yet obviously but they communicate in English and get by fine.
Now , I'm teaching my kid German which is fun. She tries to teach me Chinese for some non apparent reason. Can't confirm she actually gets it but whatever she spits out kinda does make sense.
Its one of the upsides of kids watching a wide variety of content these days. Downsides as well... But this is one of the upsides.
69/yr
too much.
$35 per year
Ah might do.
I am 50% in NL and 50% in DE all The time but never during this time.
Also another 3 weeks in NL. Be Back in Germany/Bavaria in May.
Was it about money?

Bavaria is very nice. I travel to Germany a lot for business and used to go there for the summer holidays as it's cheap compared to NL.
Spending summers in NL now as my kid loves a certain place we go to but I do miss it. Really miss the food.
I miss Europe in general.
One day
