I have communicated many times through tickets, and they replied that the test results are not reliable because the network is dynamic over time. However, the results are still not good even with nearby positions. The positive aspect is that they are somewhat stable. After purchasing from other providers and running tests, I am left wondering why the performance is so poor when it shouldn't be.
So, I am here to see if it is
normalfor naranjasI just got a down notification for ping test results from Hetrix, which I wasn’t getting for the last few days about Naranjatech.
It seems like the networking issue is back.
Theirs as well as Liteservers are both unusable for the pasts months or probably almost a year already. Sometime last summer the problems started, meanwhile he promises to improve but that was temporary only. It's unstable and virtualizor is buggy too.
@NaughtyWombat here's mine, it is indeed awful, I've let it idle for the past months and never find out the network is that bad.
definitely will not renew.
I did YABS on one of my Naranjatech servers (I have like 3 other). I noticed that the GB6 score is decreased drastically , but network isn't terrible as yours. Nonetheless, I will cancel this one also
Thanks for the information. I will definitely not renew the service too.
Me neither. Will not renew both providers.
It's sad to see that a provider with such a good reputation doesn't give any answers.
I didn't create a ticket, thinking that some had. That’s the case ?
I think so but only empty promises.
Mine is not on epyc's node and been great so far.

They apparently treated the users differently.
Those micro-disconnections usually lasted only a few seconds, and since they came from their uplink, LiteServer, I doubt you were immune to them. They might not have been caught by the 1 minute monitoring interval check.
My UptimeRobot checks didn't notice them either, but my regular Irssi (dis)connections to various networks did.
It's not like downtime that lasts for minutes. It's more of a recurring network blip, then it's okay until the next day or so.
Setup a ping check on the IP, I used Hetrix, and choose random regions. You will get ping timeouts from certain regions every day or in a day or two.
The issue as it mentioned is random short time ping losses. Before I set up the ping test, I thought I don't had those issues either.
Yes i've seen this on my server status page, both LiteServer and Naranja goes offline for 1-2-5 sec then come back.
Which is a nightmare for any TCP hosted app. For a webserver that's not an issue but on the TCP side it's simply not usable whatsoever. I wonder if there will be any compensation of any kind for those who have been affected by this issue for the past several months @naranjatech
They will just return back on BF and throw around some deals and then leave the LET till next BF again. Tagging them is useless.
@heartbeat_IT seems to be using the same network as well, exact behavior with multiple micro-disconnections.
Nope, they are not using the same DC.
Is that still going on btw? They had some long maintenance recently, wondering if that issue is solved or not.
Thanks for confirming, guess I'll submit a ticket if this continues.
Are you asking about heartbeat or LiteServer/Naranja? If it's heartbeat, they've been pretty stable since the middle of this month except yesterday when they had like 7-8 small outages of about <1m each. It happened around the same time with my LiteServer and Naranja servers before as well so thought they're using the same DC as well but guess it was a coincidence.
@Ramsterdam @barbaros @nick_ @emperor @Mumbly @NaughtyWombat @webcraft @remy @gigazil Anybody who has experience the neywork issues, please PM me with your email address for the client area and the ticket id about the issue and we will get back to you with something!
A bit late, isn't it?
Better late than never! I don't login to LET very often (once or twice per year) and missed this completely, my apologies.
you didn't login to check tickets either?
Ehm.
I don't handle tickets myself. That's why I am asking for this info to get this issue solved for the future!
Hey,
I never openeded a ticket, but I am sure I was affected too, what can I get?!
/s
You don't login to your ticket system either, maybe also once or twice per year?
I'm sure your ticketing is full of reports of horrible networking right now, but you just ignore them, right?
No, like I said: I don't handle tickets myself. That's why I am asking for this info to get this issue solved for the future!
