Still waiting...
And what are you waiting for ?
"What price do you think is 'a little more'? Tell me more, please. Maybe 1$?"
There is no one fit all answer to this, it depends on
Your use purpose of the service
Locations (can vary a lot)
What is included, version of CPU, type of drives (SSD/NVME)
Bandwidth/Speeds
Just by these prices it will stand out to most people that the provider will be putting too many on the node to cover the costs of power, ip's and bandwidth
The main 2 scenarios on this offer
1 - They will keep putting more on already oversold services
2 - They will disappear before the 4 years as promised because of the costs
Overall, It will look cheap but long term it won't be when you cost in the amount of time you spend reporting issues, posting threads/comments about issues
It is far better to order from a provider you may think of as expensive but long term you are not reporting issues every week, suits your needs and if you have an issue you get a reply and fix in a reasonable timeframe
Expectations, manage them.
The answer is still not acceptable. You still haven't given a price which tries to compete with $0.49/month for 4 years.
And what makes no sense or respect is to get into another provider's thread and throw all this.
It makes perfect sense, maybe you want me to commit to prices without knowing your requirements which makes no sense.
Most of your comments on this forum are complaining about providers, you bought this offer which is either going to be unsustainable or very poor quality (possibly both)
It makes sense to know what you need and not go for the cheapest option then hit out at people who point this out that yes they are offering it at $0.49 a month but have not stated what you need or want other than the cheapest.
Providers need to know this or you sign up to their standard offers and take what is offered but paying prices such as this you cannot expect much if they happen to honour the 4 years you signed up for in reality you can expect this quality.
Which sense??
"And what makes no sense or respect is to get into another provider's thread and throw all this."
Are you so disrespectful or maybe a bit slow?
Don't you have rent prices on your website or something? You don't need to know any requirement... And my problems with my providers are my own.
Please, don't try to promote yourself on another provider's thread. That's inappropriate. Don't you think?
What have I promoted? I have stated clear facts of buying or choosing a provider. Have I said you can visit my site at …. ? No
As for requirements, you may have very low needs and possibly a older CPU would give you what you need at a lower price or you may need something very powerful because you need something very high end to run a large application.
Without knowing your needs its hard to say what package would be best for your needs, that is why asking these questions is needed.
You are saying problems with a provider are your own on a public forum in which anyone is allowed to comment their view.
OMG. Really?
I said "Don't TRY to" not "Don't promote". Are you kidding??
And I share my problems with users of my same provider, who have the same issues. But what's your problem?
Sorry. This conversation ends here. It does not reach the minimum acceptable level.
It's over.
is it Ipv6 available ?
Don't buy this VPS, don't buy it, it falls a lot, read the comments, I don't recommend it.
No ipv6 on my instances, I use he.net tunnels with these.
49 cents!!
It's $23.98 payment actually. If they go deadpool earlier than your 4yr paid plan ends, without refunds on the remaining services, you'll have to reconsider how much per month you've really paid.
>
At this point this is just a promise (that the service will actually live another 3.5 years). If they close shop in a couple of months, the total cost per month will be much higher.
I only bet on a year, there's no way these plans live for 4 years. Either grid disappears or people get a dear john letter about plans unsustainable have to cut off yadda yadda.
I canceled my two VPS because it is unusable.
They deleted them but refuse to refund the remaining time. It is in the contract. I didn't know about that point, now I have nothing.
Bad experience unfortunately, I think the servers are oversell. It got worst and worst
He hasn’t given a price that competes because that price ($0.49/mo) does not cover all the bills for hosting that server. There is no competing at that low of a price point. Even Racknerd doesn’t go that low on Black Friday sales and they are about as rock bottom as you can go with a VPS, with the bonus that they have a robust reliable business that isn’t going to Deadpool overnight.
The floor for most hosts is $1/mo or $12/yr for a reason. IPv4, bandwidth, electricity, etc all cost something to every provider. Even the legendary $7/yr VPS (which is still above $0.49/mo) is a loss leader that hopes to encourage the client to purchase more expensive plans from the provider.
I personally never buy more than 1 year from any provider unless they are well-established, and always pay with PayPal so I can chargeback a summer host.
If you open a ticket and complain about the shitty performance, massivegrid is trying to sell you a vds.
@MassiveGRID can you check it please ?
They are scammers.
How's the hosting guys?
Is London safe now?
Is it still usable for you?
Mine was okay for like 2-3 days and now it's even worst than before even on TCP packets as well.
Frankfurt UDP gone to shit again, TCP seems ok.
London no issues.
OMG again. UDP death is already palpable.
Seems to have cleared up overnight.
London is worse than ever now.
May the Queen save London
