I can confirm that UDP is basically unusable in the frankfurt datacenter.

It's also been unusable in the London datacenter for the last 3-5 days. In the last 2-3 hours UDP traffic is completely blocked though. Wireguard to the VPS no longer works and the VPS can no longer do DNS lookups lol

Came to say this as well. Frankfurt UDP has been shit for days (weeks?) and London UDP completely gone for 2hrs.

  • I have a massivegrid server in UK, London. Tried to ping it from different locations (London, Amsterdam. Moscow) - the packet loss is 9%-12%. I guess it started about 10 hours before this post. I have rebooted my VPS - it did not help.
Anybody here with London VPS? Do you have problems?

We've observed issues on UDP delays on some VMs in our Frankfurt infrastructure, although from tests conducted the UDP at the node level doesn't face any issues.

The team is working on it. Feel free to open support tickets for any issues since our team is monitoring the tickets 24x7.

It's happening in Frankfurt (still) and London (still) both, right now. It's /been/ happening for over a week in Frankfurt, approaching 2 weeks.

UDP just wants to be free, and usable.

I think it's best if we open support tickets here in this thread so everyone is aware of the issue and the absurd amount of time it takes to solve it.

edit: Communicate to "team" that just bouncing the host in Frankfurt clearly isn't solving the issue, time to try a different quick fix.

  • I almost ordered it, but after reading the reviews, I stopped.

    You dodged a bullet there.

  • It's been more than 24 hours that they said they've escalated the ticket to their Network Department 2nd Lvl for further processing and it's still on hold while I've opened this ticket more than 52 hours ago.
