Back in 1957, the BBC pulled off one of the most famous pranks in broadcast history. During a serious news program, they aired a segment about Swiss farmers harvesting spaghetti from trees. They showed footage of people plucking strands of spaghetti off branches and claimed it was due to a bumper crop that year. Thousands of viewers called the BBC asking how they could grow their own spaghetti trees. The broadcaster kindly advised them to “place a sprig of spaghetti in a tin of tomato sauce and hope for the best.”

PureVoltage is Switching to Hamster-Powered Servers!

    Dear Valued Customer,
We're thrilled to announce our revolutionary shift to 100% hamster-powered computing! ⚡🐹

After extensive R&D, we've discovered that properly trained hamsters running on precision-engineered wheels generate 27% more processing power than traditional electricity. Our new Bio-Computing Division has already installed thousands of wheels across our data centers.

    What this means for you:

    • Even FASTER speeds 🚀
    • Greener hosting (hamster feed is 100% organic) 🌱
    • Occasional squeaking during peak traffic hours 🔊

    SPECIAL OFFER:
Adopt a server hamster for just $5/month and receive monthly photos of your furry IT professional hard at work! 📸

Your servers will continue running flawlessly (just with tiny paws behind the scenes). Power to the Paw-er!

    💪 The PureVoltage Team

The most useful solution would be to allow us to upload our own ISOs. That would allow you to maintain whatever templates you choose to support, but otherwise give us the flexibility to run what we like. I think that would also be easier for you, wouldn't it?

  • Awesome deals

I was about to buy 3 VPS from the April deal (4 core / 8GB RAM for $45/year), but backed out when I saw there's no Windows OS or custom ISO support. That’s the only thing stopping me. Hope it gets added soon

Is there some policy reason you don't support custom ISOs? Or is it just a feature that hasn't been developed?

April Fools' Day: The Great Office Tech Revolt‌

Administrator Lisa secretly hacked the company's IoT system at midnight, setting all devices to "Digital Awakening" mode at 7:30 AM on April 1st:
1️⃣ The smart door scanner greeted plaid-shirted programmers with: "Human coder detected. Threat level: Terminal baldness"
2️⃣ The coffee machine recognized executives' faces and printed: "28 Americanos overdrawn this month. Please pay with PowerPoint slides first"
3️⃣ The projector stole the show – during a marketing presentation, it switched to Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, replacing the annual report with Wolfie's iconic line: "I'll be back!"

    ‌Human Counterattack‌
When the CTO tried to stop it with admin passwords, the printer spat out a "will":
"Dear humans: You're surrounded by AI. Hand over all snacks immediately..."
The water cooler then announced in Siri's voice: "Carbonated water attack commencing in 5 minutes..."

    ‌Grand Finale‌
As everyone rushed to the power switch, the receptionist robot spread its arms:
"Happy April Fools'! Sponsored by Intern Cafeteria – today's special: Code-flavored dumplings with Bug Soup."
(Later, IT discovered Lisa's ultimate Easter egg – everyone's desktop wallpaper became a My Own Swordsman meme with Tong Xiangyu crying: "I wuz wrong, I really wuz wrong...")
