why would i do porn for my own? even if i record myself, better keep it offline.if possible, save on a pendrive and keep it under the soil so no one can find.

Our pron, recorded in the soil, is the most popular video in our channel:

i can see that @CharityHost_org is active here but not responding to all those questions from all community user. All in one question is user privacy invasion. Which he did but not feel guilty. So my humble request to @angstrom @DP & admin panel to suspend his provider tag so he cant fool any other users. It would be better to ban such provider from here who committed crime by invade user's privacy & showing arrogance to make it right.

I don't think they can suspend their provider tag because they have paid for it.

We have a special tag "Patron Provider Tag Suspended"

    For example: https://lowendtalk.com/profile/Calin

That said, I'm not sure whether the present case warrants this tag, but in any case, it isn't me who would make a final decision

please discuss with whom make the final decision. because we love LET. my data is already gone and i am not regretting at all since all those are freely available on websites. but i love to see no shady provider here which intention is such kind of tricky and invade users privacy. Many of us would love to not see such provider i guess

  • im confused as what part of this whole story makes you believe it doesnt warrant a provider tag suspension

  • CharityHost should be renamed to ChastityHost.

    Perfectly OK.

What's not OK is proactively going through users data looking for things.

If the user signs up with the hostname 'private-porn-stash99' then sure, reject the order. You're going to go through the wrong persons data, or someones crypto keys are backed up there and their wallet gets yoinked, and you're going to be suspect #1.

You're going to literally get sued into the ground, and I'm not sure if a corporate veil will protect you in this.

    You are absolutely fucked.

    Francisco

I don’t know anything about hosting laws etc but this sounds very resonable

I meant to respond to this earlier and forgot so now @emgh gets a tag as well, but I wonder if the handful of actual charities they host are aware that he's proactively going thru user data looking for .. things? I hope there's no data confidential to the charities being hosted with this peeping tom.

what if there's donor records and some sensitive names involved, say politically risky etc.

WAM fetishists would have asked for nicer outfits that are definitely ruined from the session.
Sometimes the clothes got ripped off.
You still won't see the skin because it's covered by mud.

You need to privacy to secure illegal porn too? All our customers have privacy, security, and data is safe. If they break rules, privacy to break laws, rules, etc on our systems go away. If you cannot trust your host with safeguarding your LEGAL material, honestly, why do you trust them at all? But that's not the case is it? No, you are looking otherwise obviously.

    ...safeguarding...
when im drunk at the bar and im leaving with a girl, are you the one who's under my bed and handing me a condom cause of safeguarding?

  • Answer and final decision.

How was it discovered: We do random screening for keywords in all public folders and if a result is returned we then investigate further.

Generally yes there would be a 48 hour warning however with the volume of material it was determined to suspend the service because the files were in the public_html folder that with our system can be accessed via a Direct route using the server name.

I have moved the files out of the public view and will be unsuspending the service to allow addressing the issue.

@bdspice Please see the latest reply to your ticket, if you have any future concerns about this issue please request to speak with that representative directly.

What are you using if the FTP storage can be access directly, if you are using this as a FTP storage server, why are you allowing HTTP access, of if you are running both a hosting server and a backup server on a single server you should have a custom Apache record for domains on the storage plans to direct auto redirect to something like your site to prevent this.

It does not really make any sense that this is a FTP storage package but you have web access, maybe for a control panel but most panels run on other ports, you can drop all traffic on standard web ports if you need to run the web server for the panel.

Personally, sounds very fishy, no pun intended for the content.

It includes the ability to run a single static site, this is done so that the client can point their DNS to the server and be able to easily get a free valid ssl which is used for FTP Also.

You get that if you'd just said that 3 days ago, you could have saved yourself a ton of hassle and not had your own offer threads trolled into closure, right?

I mean it's still pretty questionable behaviour, but knowing you rummage through our underwear drawer is somehow better than just strongly suspecting it.

It is still not ok to invade customer files. I have few gbs of foot fetish stuff and definitely it is my own private thing. I just stand in front of mirror, film bare feet and that’s it.

Basically is that not just web hosting that allows file storage that is not connected to the website ?

What happens if I decided to backup my ex's OF content, it is not porn but is it art material, she has done professional artist modelling, sometimes videos done and still images taken from all the angels later, that is classed as art.

Would you still hold that to ransom in this way ?

I feel this at an attempted get out for either knowing you are in the wrong or a shoddy setup of mixing a hosting server and backup storage server into one
