@beanman109 @Smigit where do you buy your electronics? friend suggested umart (au/nz)
I just found the fire on Kuroit thread T_T
If only my work is half as fun...
For PC components Umart when I lived in QLD. MSY now I’m in ACT if I want a local shop as Umarts not here.
Otherwise online. Pccasegear and the like. Use Apple mostly now days so not buying too many parts though. Also check Amazon first due to prime shipping.
For computer bits there’s also this search engine https://www.staticice.com.au/ which will show you AU retailers and prices
$100 for another round of the beanman special
(edit: not asking you to spend more money, just remembering how the first time started)

also that staticice site is a beauty, had to zoom in a bit though
Yeah staticice is super convenient, but I don’t think it’s had a design update in 15 years
that was a magical time wasn't it
Umart owns MSY now btw, same prices and same stores
Yeah I can still remember it like it was last week
@ZachNuyek i got a 9950x btw, the gods have seen the injustice done to my duck and decided to reward me
it isn't 2.98/y though
say it aint so
wasn't that last month???
Believe so, over in the green cloud thread
that penguin is trying to gaslight me i knew it
Good to know. So out of the loop having only built up a NAS in the past 10 years. I always found them pretty interchangeable, just whatever was easier to get to.
Sorry guys was fine tuning it.....
Ignore black lines lol this monitor is shot and they wanted $300 to ship it to them for warranty...
Thing stays nice and cool
Nice. My 10500t is really optimised
I think @lukast__ would like
I think a lot of us do
No IPv6 online either @beanman109 .
🤣
Lowkey will be super busy next week or two. Ton of new stuff coming in, setting the 8500t/9500ts and that sole 10500t up.., need to get two new routers and ship one to my rack in KC. Should solve the network speed problems.
yeah you guys keep your ancient 9950x then i dont even want it
$7/yr deal is back in stock

why are you doing this to me its 3am please
Wow, you're actually using the noble T-mobile, but I think your monitor is more noble.
Sadly it's all I can get out here that's semi-stable and not less then 20Mbit/s
I can actually get 500-600Mbit/s DL and 50-60Mbit/s UP. We do have a local WISP buuuut the service is terrible and goes offline all the time
