    I've been getting requests to create storage VPS for 100GB HDD. How many of you think that a 100GB storage VPS makes sense?

    actually it will be totally depend on the price, since hostbrr already has 500gb for ~$7 and most of the things work with it..........then the only comparative thing would be at what rate can you give this :smile: and about making sense one can use it for VM backups :smile: that is if its cheap [again the pricing]

    First, truly appreciate your opinion! Listening to some response to a discusssion feels welcoming.

    What you get at Hostbrr storagebox is effectively a directadmin based shared hosting, vs what we are offering here is a IPv6 based VPS with full root access. So it really is not an apple to apple comparison!

    I get what you're saying. That’s why I mentioned most of the things. People would likely use this as a backup solution, and with hostbrr offering rsync, jailed SSH, and FTP, it already makes things much easier.

    Any VPS without NVME is pretty difficult to work with, especially in environments where you're hosting an app or something like nextcloud. So, if the IPv6 100GB HDD VPS also had an NVME SSD alongside it, I think it would be a great option since people could use it in more versatile ways. 😊

    Yeah large SSD + storage HDD together would be good, could implement SSD cache to really improve storage performance
