If you’re a bit worn out / tired, would work be receptive of a candid chat asking for a week off for fatigue management, even if that’s unpaid? I have no idea what the culture is like either in the location or your particular workplace regarding such matters.

inline scripts> RefreshI don't think that's the issue, employee morale is all time low (based on latest "anonymous" survey) - I can no longer see the energy from most of the colleagues. The company trying to downsize different teams while still having to deliver same if not more number of tasks, no increment and almost non-existent bonus.
Maybe a good time to put the resume out there as a feeler and see what comes back then?
If you’re legit at a point where you’d quit rather than be there, then maybe start with having a conversation with them if you haven’t and if they’re not receptive to that, it’s probably time to go. Whether that’s with a plan B lined up or not. You seem like someone that’d land on their feet when it comes to finding new work or could even sole-trade if you needed.
Seriously all the best. Put yourself and your mental health first.

Amen, my previous job was bad enough I nearly changed into a completely different (and entirely unrelated) field.
Luckily I applied at a place nearby and decided to give it another shot with them... and now I've been here for nearly 4 years.
Anyways, despite that, I am still unhappy it's Monday morning and I have to work.

As someone with 4 kids, that’s not the way to get time off.
I have none, and I plan on having exactly none, but hearing kids laugh is one of the best sounds i will ever hear.
