  i have an old HP workstation PC that I put a quadro GPU in a while ago
  turns out i didn't check the width of the card compared to the PC before buying it
  so i had to get the angle grinder out and cut some GPU sized holes out of the side of the case

  I thought you cut down the GPU but your method works also.

  I thought you cut down the GPU but your method works also.

  

  That PC was Windows 7 ready but not GPU ready.
