    Haha nice.

Too much for me :) might double my 250GB for the file storage, but won’t approach 10TB :).

  • do i have 3 grand lying around for a 4 year ROI

  • @Francisco will EU lifetime plans be available for the same duration as the US ones? (I.e., 5 months as in November-April)?

  • EU more expensive? Damn tariffs war...

On a serious note, is there a feature to block images and tracking pixels in the received email?

    cogent connection when...

  • We are looking for a new mail host for our company and these prices are very attractive to us.
But how's the reliablity? I dont want to suggest this provider and destroy my reputation at the company if it's not reliable.
    Appreciate any help.

  • I had a little heart attack when I saw a new topic of CraneEmail thinking EU launched.

    I got scammed

  • Hi @Francisco
Can we send marketing emails in bulk as well as transactional emails?

    hi @Francisco

How can I make the reply textarea appear below the email like in the screenshot above?

  • kzedkzed Member

@Francisco if i buy Lifetime 500G now, can i stack another 500G later down the road with the same price after April 1st or even after the lifetime promo ended?

Aren't Namecrane/Cranemail Canadian? Or is that just BuyVM (formerly).

  • now it's getting exciting. lifetime only seems to be available for non-eu cranemail, right? will cranemail europe come before april 1st? will there be cranemail europe lifetime and if so at what price?

  • perhaps cranemail europe will make a sensible and fair adjustment to the domains that can be assigned to the entry-level package?!

@edip said: thinking "after full webdav and rclone support, it'll cost more".

Webdav is up to the devs to get ready short of us being madlads and try to side load it. Rclone is there, works great. I need to push the latest update that makes it work with 2FA.

    Hope you enjoy your 1TB!

    Francisco

Are there any plans for a linux release of rclone?
Sadly I couldn't make windows version work with kopia or duplicati.

What's wrong with the domain assignments currently (haven't bought anything yet)?

    CraneMail Lifetime 250G
250GB Combined Mail & File Storage
    15 Primary Domains

    $69.42* Lifetime Deal - One-Time Payment - Order Here

    CraneMail Lifetime 500G
500GB Combined Mail & File Storage
    50 Primary Domains

    15 primary domains = 69,42$
    50 primary domains = 138,84$

it would be fair to either raise the price to 25 for the 250G plan or to lower the price (especially for long-term customers who have a “Premier Account Status”?) @Francisco

Maybe it would be better to buy the "Number of Domains Extension Pack" separately.🤣As much as I would love for the 250G to get more domains

But just to note that the current situation isn't unfair

Elsewhere in the real world, it's common practice that if one purchases more of a product X, then the relative unit price of X decreases. For example, if I purchase one white-board marker, then I pay more for this marker than if I purchase a package of four white-board markers, relative to the unit price per marker

In a similar way, if I purchase the (smaller) package CraneMail Lifetime 250G, then I pay more for one primary domain than if I purchase the (bigger) package CraneMail Lifetime 500G

(If CraneMail Lifetime 500G offered 15 or fewer primary domains, then I would better understand the impression of unfairness)

if your fanboy logic is correct, then it would have to get cheaper and cheaper from the Lifetime 250G package onwards, or if the prices remained the same in comparison to 250G, more features would have to be added in order to emphasize your view via the “argument” - 'the higher the number of units, the lower the price per unit (here GB, domains)'.
i don't understand why the smallest package is the “worst” (it's only about the domains).

Also, how do you explain that:

    CraneMail Starter 100G
100GB Combined Mail & File Storage
    15 Primary Domains

    CraneMail Lifetime 250G
250GB Combined Mail & File Storage
    15 Primary Domains

probably in the rush of success of cranemail, the lifetime 250G was not looked at so closely. wouldn't it make sense to equip the 100G annual package with only 8 primary domains...?

    Francisco

Waiting for the release so i can switch with my already bought lifetime plan to the EU location

    what? proof!

so far, the announcement has always been that it doesn't work. that's why i'm waiting, because i didn't want to spend 70$ for the usa package and then have to buy the eu package again. why is there such contradictory communication here? in addition to the illogical 15 domains that are apparently also set for premium members in the 250G lifetime plan.

It's not "fanboy logic", because I'm not a "fanboy" and nor is it "logic" in the usual sense of the term

In a market economy, people try to sell products for prices that they think that people are willing to pay

When you speak of "fairness", you seem to be assuming some background principle such as "The pricing of products should scale perfectly with their size", but there's no such principle in a market economy

You're free to believe in such a principle if you want, but it doesn't follow that everyone believes in this principle
