Appreciate it, but we all have those moments as we grow. Difference is informing, fixing, and keeping trust. Microsoft had a massive Outlook server outage 2 weeks ago, last year Cloudflare Seattle was dropping constantly causing issues for traffic there, etc.
Depending on how much work you want to do yourself, we've been implementing status pages from instatus. Automating the tie-ins to monitoring/alerts has been nice. A bit of a risk for false-positive, but better than alternative. Definitely keep at least 1 of your 3 customer-facing methods off-site (website, billing/support portal, status monitoring/comms). It's not about not trusting your own facilities, just safety.
Good luck sir, hope the storms aren't too bad. Was seeing potentials for some massive stuff down south.
Ngl, I grow too when I see these kind words between provider bros.

duck race?
RIP ANIKI
Duck Race Championship at 10PM AEST (8AM EST)
Live streamed at kick.com/beanman109
15 Races, 37 Entrants
Winner of each race wins an upgrade to the 9950x node when it's online.
A preview of things to come
15 races????? End is nigh
I don't think he meant 15 races lol
This is definitely killing
Nice
I was planning on making them ~30 second each race
Will look a bit nicer than slapping 37 entrants into one race IMO as you can barely even see who crosses the line after 2nd place.
1 race top 15 get upgraded imo
we're doing 15 races so that yall are so sick and tired of duck races by the end of it you never ask me to run then again
it doesn't even show the top 15 pretty sure, so your plan is already flawed
It does press press results it shows every finish
Then we are going for goose race for next megathread!
How's about 5 races / top 3 winners each ?
I like the idea of 15 races, but if that’s too many, could do 5 or 3 and top N places get it
Seems like you aren't getting a hint that beanbro just likes to run dem races.
15 short races sounds hype
what if someone wins multiple ones?
5 with top 3 sounds better lol
If you did 15 races removing the winner each time it could work but takes the hype away from 1 race I think I won’t be around to watch it but still I ain’t coming 1st ever
I think remove winners from subsequent races. Max 1
Thats what I was planning on doing
I'm actually not a huge fan of running them, but these giveaways always get pinned onto me somehow and I'm sorta sick of organising and running them then having people sook and go "do it this way instead"
So I'm just sticking to it and saying fuck you go run your own duck race to anyone who doesn't like it
Then his duck gets disqualified for obvious anabolic steroid abuse.
