Where is he btw?
Thailand... Supposedly.
For how long again?
I cannot describe in words how much I love this shit, so fucking cool.
One month... Again, just hearsay.
It's so hard for me to visualize how far away the ISS is from earth, but the fact I just heard "they'll be reaching their destination of ISS in around 28 hours" kinda helped. At least considering the SPEED those rockets go
It's a 'business trip' or 'work thing' . Not fooling me though.
Yeah very cool, did u see that guy play with his card? floating it lol!
i just asked cgpt about their mission and it blew my mind! cancer research on space?
The primary objectives of the Crew-10 mission include:
Scientific Research: Conducting experiments related to Parkinson's disease and cancer, as well as testing technologies for future lunar and Martian missions.
Crew Rotation: Facilitating the return of current ISS crew members—NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have experienced extended stays due to technical issues with Boeing's Starliner spacecraf
So for people that do not know. These 4 people are going to go to the International Space Station, and the main mission is to rescue two astronauts who were supposed to stay there for 5 days, but were stuck for 8 MONTHS. They are going home now in this rocket.
They also have 200 science experiments on board.
SO. FUCKING. COOL.
IT IS GOING AT 27 THOUSAND KM/H TWENTYYYYYYYY SEVEN THOUSAND
Something tells me you crazy about rockets
But yeah, its amazing to watch!
0:13 (because I guess the embed doesn't include the linked timestamp)
Think of all the shitposting you can do in 8 months.
Would be ... SO.FUCKING.COOL.
what gave it up
Wait a minute... @emgh missing... Rocket going into space...
'thailand' my arse!
@Saragoldfarb when the presenter said this rocket is carrying 8 million pounds of thrust i immedietly thought "sara is going to like that very much"
Alright... Dont Mind me... I need a moment in private now.
.
Suni Williams, a literal space commander, is one of the most badass people on earth. She has 9 (NINE!!!!!) spacewalks on her resume (that is a lot, for example most humans have 0) . She is the woman with the most time out in space, ever.
I read her biography and i was crushing the entire time. I love her.
This is her giving a tour of the ISS from a previous expedition (late 2012), the video is really interesting if you have 8 minutes to spare:
So how many ducks are there in the end @ZachNuyek for the races
i would rather not know so I dont get depressed
Hah. If it’s a duck per service, then I’ll have 4 in the running
32~3232?
