I think so too. Sometimes, I even feel like I shouldn't have come into this world.

I am not saying my current life isn't great, but it feels less and less "real".

Ah... well fortunately I don't have that thought anymore, at least I realised that I still serve a purpose here.

But I really really want to repeat and experience some moments again. It is perfectly fine if I cannot change the result but only when some moments turn into memories I realise how much I missed.

Exactly this. To me photos are things that I don't like to let go off, in fact it is the closest thing mankind will ever get to time machine in my opinion. Even if I take a burst shot of 10 photos with RAW files, I will still keep every one of them at full resolution. Even if the photos are a little bit blurry, it speaks a story.

This is more or less the same for the gift I have received over the years. I am not even willing to open the sealed gift because every time I saw them it reminds me of the moments I have with my friends.

But you know, sometimes the problem is the memory only exists in your brain. No words can explain it and there's basically no photos and videos to prove the existence of that moment.

I am afraid of forgetting them one day and it is as if the moment never even happened.

Yeah, im ok to pay more for data redendency for that, if these photo somehow lost, it's like some part of my life just gone out of me

I had some fun project idea to preserve my photo like print it out to film roll for more data redendecy but its not cheap for sure and im not even sure if this's possible at all lol

Sometimes I also do wonder, is it just me that's such sentimental or the memories exist in the other parties as well? Do they also think about those good memories we were together and be happy and fortunate of the existence of each other in life?

take a look at this please (everyone should, not just dino)

Every single human will experience imposter syndrome to varying degrees. It is totally normal, you just have to know how to deal with it.

I also have lots of copies but one of the final goal I hope is a decent drive with Bluray M-Disc, unfortunately I can't find great price on them but has been eyeing for quite a while and hopefully I can burn them to Bluray. I already burn some important ones to DVD but the capacity is quite limited.

Dude this is just my whole life is:

    1. You put off what needs to be done until the last minute. Then, you scramble to finish it in time and believe your success is only because you were "lucky."

I get it bad a lot when I'm stressed with work. I will literally not be able to sleep some nights just thinking about how shit I am and how everyone else is better at my job than me. Which isn't true but my brain is trying to sabotage me into believing it.

  • @FAT32 said: Sometimes I also do wonder, is it just me that's such sentimental or the memories exist in the other parties as well? Do they also think about those good memories we were together and be happy and fortunate of the existence of each other in life?

sometimes I think about it too, I think and I think then some quotes come into my mind but nothing satisfies that urge to know so then there is only two options assumption of mine to assume they think or don't think about me or latter is this is reality its not like a film or a series or a story where the other person's thought can be read and with that I feel stuck there for a few days then the feeling vanishes on its own or maybe its just my mind trying to forget them. So in conclusion this just remains a thought but the thing is you were happy at that time and its just better to think about that since nothing else is in our own hands

Im thinking of the worst case scenario like carrington event alike happens, assuming that all electronics is died cause of the storm, so i dont think keeping in traditional form is safe enough

Yes. The internet and social media and modern life are literally rewiring our brains

It is normal, and it's not your fault.

Ya which is why I am thinking to use M-Disc or equivalent that's optical based, it should by right be decent enough to prevent from any geomagnetic interference.
