    Control panel will automatically renew for 3 years since that's the maximum. However all those that got the bonus (the 4th year), can open a ticket to add again the 4th year free of charge then.

    Ok, maybe you guys can fix the control panel so it auto-renews for 4 years without a ticket, that would be even better

    We agree. It's a limitation of WHMCS (the control panel we're using) unfortunately.

    I think I figured out what is going on. When upgrading, the 4th free year is not factored in by the portal calculation which explains why it is more expensive than when configuring before purchase since you are paying for a whole extra year and the portal does not know that year should be free.

    What made it even more confusing is that the cost to upgrade one CPU on the most recently purchased server when checked yesterday was only $12.61, but the other two servers cost $15.33 and $15.29, which does not make any sense. However, today it costs $16.79. Confusing, but it all seems to make sense now.

    It still doesn't make any sense. You can't charge an extra fee of a free year. It's a Free extension.

    It's simple to fix this issue.

    $years_contracted = min($years_contracted, 3);

    Prices locked for a maximum of 3 years.

    This way, customers will not see the price increase as unfair for a year that has been given to them as a gift. I include myself in them.

    The bonus provides a free year on any configuration ordered and not free years on any configuration upgrade.

    What's the difference between purchasing an upgrade before and after the FREE fourth year extension? None, or at least it should be that way. It still doesn't make sense.

    The combination of discounts offered is a bit complex. You get lifetime lock on the upgrade discount but they also threw in a free year that is added later by request. Probably, WHMCS does not have the ability to define that the upgrade discount should also be applied to the 4th free year out of the box and it would require an investment in custom coding a solution. If that is the case, it would be absurd to expect MassiveGRID to do that.

    This offer was already extremely generous and I really appreciate the scalability with lifetime lock on the upgrade discount. So easy to upgrade when needed. No way I'm going to complain that the upgrade configurator is not factoring in the 4th free year. Thank you again!

    Can we get this for personal/home use AmneziaVPN? 1core 2 rams. Can I later upgrade to 2cores 4 rams inside this amazing price structure?

    Can I buy the 1-year now and if happily performance pay the different to 3-years? or is there a refund option on the 3-year buy?

    I think you may have misread my question. Are you still working through the clients in this thread and updating their 3 year purchases to the 4 years. The reason i ask is im still on 3 years. Im just wandering if you are still working through the list. The last I saw you were working on purchases made around 26th February. Thanks again.
