EasyVM LLC must have received money for selling the assets.
Liabilities can be paid from this money before they go into owner's pocket.
Assuming they owned those assets under this LLC.

I wrote a plugin for @crunchbits on that, not sure whether they have plan to resell it
EasyVM was sold to LevelOneServers
Fixed!
Never. That was a trade secret @FAT32 i think we have to engage that NDA protection clause
@FAT32 has to do giveaways on LET for breaking the NDA now?

i have become chainsaw
It's a vicious cycle for new businesses.
the price is cheap: cannot get back the principal
the price is not competitive: fails to attract customers
Use code NDA for 10 % off and a lawsuit coming your way
That shows that it can easily be done, and it also shows that Crunchbits is one of the providers that actually spent the money/time to do it. Ten points for Crunchbits.
Just one of those little things to make life easier. Can’t email blast everyone with X product because one server needs a reboot or short downtime. Plugin is used constantly for over a year now and no worries about missing someone manually (how we used to do it). If only @FAT32 still had time for little projects like this, so many little QOL tweaks we could make the @FAT32 SummerHost plugin pack for $199.
@FAT32 is prem
Anybody know what's going on with EasyVM dedis?? Are they also getting moved to LevelOne?? All the notices have been about moving VPS's. No word on dedis.
what about parallax?
I saw a NYC VPS come back up this morning (which went down March 5th) - so 3 days to transfer ownership isn't bad. Dallas and Ashburn systems are still MIA though...
I am curious. If they don't have a way to issue refund (due to change in ownership), that means anyone who is not happy with the service should be able to chargeback, get their money and yet continue to use their service with EasyVM, as the payment processor has changed right?
And if they block the service, that means they had way to issue refund as well.
Hi all,
To address the elephant in the room, EasyVM was sold to the Purevoltage team. After numerous complaints and failed attempts to fix our support, our network, and overall service, I knew my days were up. EasyVM as a service was doing fine, it was just the upkeep that was tearing everything apart. Contract renewals were coming up for the space EasyVM was in and I felt the right move was to hand everything over to Jake and his team, as I have faith that they will provide better support and address any issues a lot better, and in a timely manner.
Regarding refunds, this is a very rough topic as there is no clear definite on who should be processing them, but I will work with Jake and his team to address these so I am not getting a large amount of chargebacks.
I felt that going this route would be a lot better than pulling what another blue colored service on these forums does, where we completely ignore issues and do not address them. I know everything was sudden and had no prior notification, but we simply wanted everything to be done all at once and not be dragging out everything.
To everyone who supported me in the past few years, I want to thank you, and I trust that Jake and his team will handle everything a lot better than I could during my ownership.
It seems like you took your time with such announcement.
From what I have been told, at least in regards to NY Dedi's, they are being moved to PureVoltage. Although ours, which we were just using for some backup stuff still has not been turned back on yet, and the DCI Manager appears to not be licensed properly.
I submitted a ticket about this yesterday, however I still have not heard back.
This entire migration has been a massive clusterfuck with obviously false public statements from both sides. PureVoltage needs to stop blaming their incompetence on the "previous management" and get their shit together. I don't know what kind of "studying for my CCNA" network techs they have, but the equipment has been moved and racked for days already. It does NOT take this long to get the network fully back up. Going from GSL to heavy HE with a side of RCN (lmao) and Cogent is also hilarious.
This is not to mention the 0 advanced notice for NY customers, the abrupt migration of Ashburn to NY, and whatever the hell is going on in Dallas. I don't buy the "extremely short timeframe" excuses for one second. And don't forget apparently refusing to give refunds after all of this!
Both sides need to stop acting like 5-year-olds and work together to fix this mess already.
Stall tactic detected.
The Dallas VPS control panel is online, but it is still in a locked state!
I don't want to use the Paypal refund policy for the first time either!
Who ever that is responsible for EasyVM LLC
You're describing fraud, on your part.
Uhm, I paid via paypal...
The first post said for N.Y. servers "The estimated time frame for full service restoration is 144 hours."
I think it is past that time though, What method should I use to get money back???
Should I just wait and see what happens?
We are technically only at 84 hours so far, but I still think that 144 hours of downtime is ridiculous for a migration.
Oh damn.
I didn't knew it's fraud if you keep tab to see if the service remains up or not.
Heck you can chargeback for one and keep using other service.
But then I am not a lawyer, maybe you are? 🤔
Honestly, though I feel it will be stupid for anyone to keep using the service after 4 month of network issue, random downtime and multiple IP changes.
For reference, VirmAche the teetering at the end provider, recently completed a migration in Los Angeles between two facilities within 48 hours including physically moving hardware and announcing IPs.
