@Ernie what about answering tickets that are like 2 months old?

    Your ticket is special.
It's being slowly thawed from the glacier store.

It will be done perfectly before a reply is provided

    Thanked by 2zGato WyvernCo
  • I can confirm that Ernie assisted me, and the $41.20 charge for the OS reinstall has been voided. Thank you!

@Ernie so why did this happen in the first place?

Is it a standard hidden fee that no one knows about until they get billed?

Does every customer that does an OS reinstall have to open a let thread?

Do you have other hidden fees, for example would I get billed for logging in? changing my password? accessing a knowledge article? I just don't wanna be surprised

they have to get their money some way or another, so that they can pay me to no longer write gay s*x fanfics about their CEO

No it’s a misunderstanding. However services are self managed so to answer your question if you forget your password and we need to login to your dedicated server to reset it that would be billable. Os reloads shouldn’t be billed. This will be echoed again internally.

  • My charge has been voided (details sent via DM).

Thanks @Ernie for your prompt help.

I think another thing to be looked here is why auto reinstall didn't work at first place. If it was working fine, your customer wouldn't had to deal with your on hands support and this issue wouldn't happen at all

However, last week, I needed an OS reinstall, and their panel did not work. So, I contacted them for assistance.

You are 100% right. PXE does exists admin side. We just need our developers to roll it out client side which is a priority.

It is $50. This fee was changed due to the amount of admin work needed to complete this. Additionally the amount of bf deals that were bought to just resell to others and transfer them helped play a role in this.

If you get red, you can use @emgh's account but he is also on the line for getting banned so you two can use @sh97's account I guess.
