Netcup doing their flash sale again (48h)
https://www.netcup.com/en/deals/
OK, so the same old deal again, but for those who missed it last time, they are offering the same deals again with no region surcharge.
And most of their deals are monthly contract, so that's a plus as well

Not bad. That rootserver is quite interesting.
It would be great if there were RS2000.
yabs would be great.. cant find any for the epyc.
I really want to buy RS 1000 but I have no usecase for it. My current normal G11 VPS 1000 is already idling lol. Extra 3 bucks for it is no use cuz none of my usecase is CPU intensive.
Also
Shameful plug:
36nc17328659561 voucher for 5 euros off on first one if anyone is interested. Its an affiliate voucher so I'll get like 10% of what u buy off on my next invoice lol. You can use it on this flash deal(I could use someone else's during BF flash).
do they allow torrent downloading?
No.
(but you can put it behind VPN if u have any prem VPN or simply cloudflare warp)
root@ubuntu:~# curl -Ls yabs.sh | bash

Sorry was on mobile
btw this one is RS4000 so RS8000 should have better GB6 multicore score
RS1000 yabs
Nice catch. Thanks for sharing.
I asked chatgpt to make a table
@plumberg I didn't know netcup offered shared x86 cores vps too
@raza19 didn't catch up with u for sometimes, how's your Netcup ARM doing btw?
Come to think of it, i might actually migrate my main vm here cause of 512 GB NVMe
It has been running smooth! I am luving it
I have like 8 docker instances running on it. The network above all is commendable. Never seen such consistent performance from any shared network ports. The cpu too is reliable.
These are by far one of the best vps deals on the planet
I am thinking of becoming a netcup affiliate now ๐
Thanks for the review! I'm still arguing with myself whether RootServer or the ARM one
But yeah as both has VM disabled so i might have to recheck my usecase for a bit
Were you familliar with arm before or is this your first time? I'm thinking of getting something just for fun to learn it
For simple web hosting this is a beast
@raza19
Thnx for the tag.
I wanted to try windows for shits and giggles.
I have used netcup many years ago and the stability you pointed out is spot on
Forgive my nativity. So if I have a docker instances on arm it would run exactly like on amd64 non arm?
Nopes never used arm before. In fact I faced a major obstacle. All of the websites were hosted in lxc containers which were amd64. That meant I cud not migrate to arm servers so I had to first move the entire web to docker containers. Docker is just pure luv
with its migratable instances it's superb albeit there are instances when I have run into adm64 only images at docker hub.
@raza19 any example where docker didn't have arm equivalent?
Enjoy
How works netcup month renew? If i cancel a product two day before renew a pay for another month right?
Huuuuuuh?
U tried?

All the docker images I'm using have built-in multiple architecture variants, so it's the same dockerfile and docker-compose regardless.
i need a yabs for this vps please VPS 1000 G11 SE
See: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/199903/netcup-bf-vps-deals-tuesday-root-server-deals-thursday/p7
and that thread in general should have a few representative samples.
On the whole, with Netcup, disk and network are usually very solid. CPU is kind of pretty variable for VPSs (but much better/consistent for Root Servers). The machines are VERY stable though and if you don't have a particularly CPU sensitive workload just go for them.
windows possible?
I have the nano 2g vps special from a while back ($12 every 6 mo). Does the current flash sale have any better deals than that?
