Questions about a provider called host-c
Hello,
I'm considering getting a server from host-c, but I'm curious on how they are as a VPS provider. How is their uptime? I can't find a single page online that shows uptime history, nor a looking glass page. And are they trustworthy? I don't want a provider thats going to go out of business in the next few months/years.

Sure. I was refering to hyper-known providers similar to: ovh, hetzner, scaleway, m247... and so on.
Host-C has achieved cult status in the LET community, their offers sell out in seconds and the only complaints I've heard about them here is about how hard it is to buy their promos.
Personally, I have a storage server with them and it's been excellent. The only downtimes have been planned maintenance, (with plenty of advanced notice), and when ithe VPS comes back online it's had something upgraded.
In my opinion Host-C is one of the best LET Providers, and I'm sure most of the community agrees because they scored well in the 'Top Provider Poll 2024'

They're totally fine in my opinion, as someone who holds a storage server from them. You can start with a shorter term plan and see if their services meet your needs.

I have one of their 5TB storage servers; can’t complain for $45/yr. Download speed often exceeds 100 MB/s, which is great for a 1Gbps server. Most 1Gbps storage servers from others are at most 50-60 MB/s.

Uptime: My compute VPS has 100% uptime and my Storage VPS 99.999% uptime in the last 3 months (only since 3months ago i monitor them with Hetrix)

Don't get a server from @host_c!
Reason: As his storage VPS are very fast (for a storage VPS), actually have more processor performance than needed for storage, are very well designed, are known to be reliable, and - for good reason - are recommended by pretty much everyone with experience ... you buying one would leave one less for us!
As a side note, I seem to smell something very tasty cooking in the host_c DC ...
host_c is good, although I don't have service from it. However, it can demonstrate something as it is on the top provider list.
I have been trying to get a @host_c Terabyte deal for months now 😢😢
I only hope they don't deadpool too soon.
They're premium IMHO.
So far my servers had no single downtime, basically no steal and consistent performance (disk speed, CPU speed and network).
Support is also rather fast (my tickets were always answered the same day I think), and even if you don't manage to snatch one of their deals, it's still priced quite reasonably IMHO.
@host_c is quite friendly...

With that being said, I also hope people don't keep on squeezing him for unsustainable deals.
Host-Champ needs to be Host-Continuous, not Host-Closed.
Agreed, he's been extremely loyal (as a provider), making sure we get the best of the product we pay for. That should come with some kind of compromise, eventually. I think he's a smart provider, building up a strong base -- don't expect the promos to last forever. Take advantage when you can, show loyalty, help him grow and he's proven to be grateful of it and reciprocate.
As far as the service and product, top notch.
