  • My dedi IPv4 at LAX have backed already, but not that stable, down at times.
    IPv6 is totally dead.

NVM. I checked 5 min later and it's bad again

  • Any alternative has the same network quality as pre-QN for China connection?

The warning signs at QuadraNet have been there for a very long time - regular outages whether it be power, network or their own website being offline for days, along with other things, like IPs being changed with absolutely no notice.

I think it would be in anyone's best interest who's still hosted at QuadraNet to look for an alternative home.

We used to host with QuadraNet years ago and they were excellent in terms of uptime/support/price/etc - but a lot has changed since then.

I agree, I know we moved out of there years ago now at this point. This was before the company itself was going through most of these issues.

The biggest issue we had was constant power outages. The last straw was when they tried to blame us saying our breaker tripped from too many servers being plugged in which we had to tell them half of the rack was already unplugged and not even connected to power.

Quite sad as for years other than an odd power issue service was quite decent.

For folks leaving Quadranet where are you going?

  • Oh, are you admin of CC?
We bought servers from you on WHT 10years ago.

Most of our LA stuff has been bought up, but we have a few configurations available for instant deploy (with more coming).

  • I still remember when QN is the most stable Asia Optimized in US, right now much more option and i choose to move to SG

  • Something at Multacom Los Angeles would be good.

We don't have that exact config in LA, but we have several options that are similar. Please open a ticket and we can discuss. Thanks.

If you're exploring alternatives for dedicated servers or colocation in Los Angeles, we can help. We recently launched our newest facility in LA and have servers readily.

Feel free to reach out [email protected] or send us a DM—we’d love to discuss how we can assist.

But heard that your LA had some issue in late 2024.

We will be on site in Los Angeles this week and next if we can help anyone needing physical colo migration, we provide free migration and rack/stack to our SLC data center which is directly connected to LA. In addition, we have LA dedicated servers available ready for quick deployment.

They sold some IPs to ColoCrossing/HostPapa?

Is Quadranet actually legit? They attempted to hijack our prefixes a few days ago, and not only ours...

    LOL.

Either they've been hacked, or an AI is controlling the router.
    There's no real staff managing.

Because ColoCrossing hosted in QuadraNet in late 2024 as well.
    That's the reason they're moving.

These IPs seems belong to Pacificrack which run out off business in early 2024.
Not the direct reason of downtime.

Multacom owners are the same as quadranet, why mention that their support is better, lol

Multacom support is fantastic; they're all very experienced, and most of their employees have worked for Multacom for decades. In days with zero pressure, they perform well and in the rare events pressure is active, they too perform very well! Whereas with QuadraNet, historically, it's low dollar support staff learning on the job with little to no knowledge with a constant cycle of churn. Multacom has also traditionally provided a good bang for your buck, with an excellent network catering to the Asian community too.

QuadraNet does have a much larger presence than Multacom infrastructure wise - but LA is the only presence of real onsite staff for QuadraNet (though over the years prior to any leadership changes, staff was heavily cut in efforts to save cost with introduction of outsourced support). And operations for that set of brand has struggled with all the hand swaps.

In short, it's more of a story of who can successfully save a company, that naturally has churn, employee churn, with zero successful sales. I'll find that hard to answer, and leave it for you.

If you're looking for stables services, contact the Multacom brand - they've yet to let us down, and have always carried a solid reputation. Despite the operation being smaller infrastructure-wise than QuadraNet, it's a much more solid brand in every aspect when compared to QuadraNet.

Although their failure stems from their management, I think the most important reason is their CFO Andrew. During my years at QN, no matter how urgent the matter was or how much technical support was needed, he would never show up. He would not solve any problems and would come up with what he thought was a way to block any meaningful improvements from me, constantly exacerbating conflicts, such as when I wanted to buy an AM4 motherboard with a 5950X.

Whenever sales were stable, QN's financial audit came. They always made a fuss about some inexplicable things and reduced my commission. For example, I once brought them a customer with a monthly salary of 20,000 US dollars, but our inventory was not available. In order to retain the customer, I chose to refund to the WHMCS account. They blamed me for why the expenditure was so high that month. Also, because the cryptocurrency customers added by Andrew would never be called back after payment, when I contacted Andrew, most of the time I didn't get a reply. I was in China, and I had to stay up until four or five in the morning every day to contact him conveniently. It was a very painful memory. Customers couldn't wait so long. They didn't provide any help or any permission improvements. Then I thought of a way to contact the cryptocurrency website and provide the transaction hash to get the payment I D manual callback, yes, their financial audit will only catch these things to constantly blame me, and say whether any of these have entered the QN account to reduce the commission

Their on-site support is also very bad. When I bring a large number of customers, they need a month to complete the machine transportation deployment. Yes, I think they had the server E5v2 motherboard at that time, but their on-site staff were unwilling to find and piece together. In my opinion, it was completely possible to find an old motherboard at that time, and only need to order some memory and hard disk to complete the rapid deployment. Their on-site staff will not provide any help in finding, or think that this is the business of QN independent servers that cannot be provided to PR. When the transportation arrived, they only assembled a few servers a day, and it took a whole week to complete the assembly of all fifty servers.

In addition, I was actually just applying for a sales manager, but I did need to complete all independent work. The WE3 staff they hired were very poor and did not know anything. The engineers of QN just watched and did not care about anything, especially Andrew, who was unwilling to reply to any of my messages. When I first joined, I needed to contact QN account manager Roman for help, and Roman would find Andrew before he would pay attention to me. I am very grateful to Roman for his help. But I solved all the problems accumulated by PR independently, including the network broadcast storm generated by their project, automatic CPU limit and frequency reduction, and all other functions, so you can see that when I left, PR was directly closed.

The reason for PR's closure came from the last financial audit. Andrew found me before and registered stripe on the grounds of adding WeChat payment, but in the end he did not add it. Instead, he added Alipay (stripe), including the cryptocurrency callback of manually entering the payment ID. None of these money entered QN. I thought the QN review was a routine financial audit and did not notice it. I told them that they could check and verify the payment ID through the stripe and cryptocurrency website accounts. Then suddenly my work email was closed, and I could not check the email with the audit department. I did not pay attention to it. I thought they would handle it. Then I did not receive any commission for three months. I contacted the auditors on Slack to ask about the salary, but they did not reply to me. I contacted Roman, and Roman helped me get the last one-month basic salary. The auditors replied to me on Slack that they did not have a stripe account. I realized that this was Andrew's trick. Then I contacted Andrew and said that this payment interface was not created by you? Andrew did not admit that it was him, but I showed the auditor the chat records of him and me discussing the payment interface. Then my slack message was deleted. He prevented me from looking for QN audit again and changed all the website account information.

That is why QN is fading.

  • I came across a complaint by "PacificRack_Y" on a Chinese channel, and I also have something I need to get off my chest.

A few years ago, I worked for budgetvm.com / Enzu Inc. I was hired as a sales representative for the Asian market. Unfortunately, Steve Empie, the CEO of Enzu Inc, was a very selfish and narrow-minded individual, much like the CEO "PacificRack_Y" complained about. My then CEO, Steve Empie, only cared about sales and paid no attention to service and after-sales support. When servers had issues and clients turned to me for help, I had no authority to assist them. I couldn't even find any technical staff to address the problems. When clients were lost due to poor technical support, Steve Empie would show up and blame me.

Withholding commissions was also a common occurrence. During my time working for him, I managed to sell tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of servers every month. However, he only paid me my commission twice. The rest of the time, there were always strange excuses for withholding my commissions, and I was only given my base salary.

  • Steve Empire once made me misunderstand that Americans are like this.

Until I met the boss now, she was impressed by my patience and enthusiasm and invited me to work for her and apply for an H1B visa for me. :)

    As for Steve Empire?

When I repeatedly demanded commission, he fired me. He seems to have found another Chinese salesperson with stronger abilities.
