I will be interested in genuine cause of kernel panic from one user that caused all nodes to fail, what he/she did, or it is just Trump like talk, everything else was wrong, after expelling poor and homeless, everything else will be perfect? I suppose it is KVM, anything on KVM kernel issues?
My Amsterdam VPS has had several more downtimes (usually around 30 minutes each) since the 6 hour one. I have gotten a few notifications of upcoming maintenance which I appreciated. But it is definitely not a server I would want to use for anything critical. It sounds like other locations are more stable and I just got unlucky, having signed up a few days before the 6h downtime hit.
So is the user/users still abusing the node or what I dont get it why is it still going down randomly?
Some of the downtimes were for maintenance, but I don't know about all of them.
They are just saying it's colocation provider issues. I had 10 other VPSes from BF, NY, Xmas 2024 deals and hosteroid is the only one having downtimes, other 10 is almost 100% up so far.
Incase anyone is wondering. There's yet another downtime in NL, this time is cause by their upstream (RoyaleHosting) moving the DC

Still offline. RoyaleHosting extend maintainace windows by 3 hours
Now it's down for 13 hours. 5 hours extra on top of scheduled maintenance.

Weird, I have a bunch of stuff in several different racks with Royale and have been back up for a few hours. Maybe they haven't finished the rack you're in yet? They'll definitely get to it.
The status page indicated that the migration is resolved. So might be hosteroid appearently in the unlucky rack
Its finally up again fellas. And the down time is "13 hr 46 min" a lot over whar i expected. But its finally up again!
Hosteroid email :
