Aka, they are blaming shipping on a not paying bills issue is my conclusion
Zero evidence so far other than the downtime itself. Just reminding this here.
0 public evidence indeed
Always sucks but that makes sense.
More interesting and potentially related stuff here… hopefully CG is just an employee at SilverCreek and not an owner - gotta keep those cheap epyc cores online 😬

Edit: RR is ceo at cosmic guard, who is terabit’s ddos provider… the rabbit hole deepens
Always bro
its deeeep
Can you TL:DR for legal idiots like me?
2 peeps that work for companies (or own them) who are seemingly very intertwined are being sued by path because said peeps were convincing customers of path to migrate to their “better” company.
Path are seeking data from discord to back the claims and my guess is that they were trying to get people to migrate from path to cosmicguard/bytefilter
Surprised this wasn't posted yet
Just another day in ddos protection industry
This path seems to be a dead end path now
@Francisco @Hannan will BuyVM continue its DDoS protecting through Path going forward with all this shit?
?
path is just too cheap to leave.
that cheap no wonder they operate in a loss. LOL.
Isn’t BuyVM using cloudflate magic transit
Not since a long time
The audacity of some
path in past had similar problems - survived. They will continue, no doubt. Doomers gonna doom.
$7
For the time being unless our hand is forced. Good luck to them.
Francisco
Path and cheap ? Its all but not cheap
Inexpensiveness depends on the perspective and customers you serve.
Seems like their main spokesman left the company 2 months ago.

Wondering how this company can stay alive for so long by not paying so many bills for so long. How are they not being sued by every single company they have $10,000+ bills with?
Also if they are running out of money how can they afford to keep expanding to random middle of nowhere locations like Missouri and Bulgaria?
SilverCreek (and I would assume Terabit, dude has more shell companies than pairs of shoes) is owned by Curtis Gervais
I thought Virgil was working for ZET now?
Quite a take for a summary.
As we use path in our sites for our game customers I don't trust myself to provide a unbiased summary either. So here is what our semi-sentient friend at OpenAI said about it:
I think you missed out a key detail in your summary
What about ME?
Hey I never said I was a lawyer haha!
Their status page shows 503 error.
NOTE : no fire without smoke, or no smoke without fire
