    Actually that was one worry i had about docker and one thing thats been delaying me in setting it up. Most of the things i deploy have their own sort of "containerize" environment. I.e. ruby bundle, python venv.. I would think those are more lightweight than putting it in a docker container.. as i understand it though it would make the deployment process slightly easier. What I have works though... so why change?.. I guess its moreso i may not know what I am actually missing out on until i try it

    no need to change something that is working fine for you. some projects only support running it in a docker container, so there's that too

    Yeah i think they aint slowing down. People are starting to see value of having something physical as well more and more i think
