When I sold my last Xeon I just shipped it in a paper envelope folded from a printer sheet, light and cheap. But for the Ryzen, I had to put it in cardboard box to save those pins.

Whoa this is awesome.. I didnt think of LET as a place to find cheap old hardware.. especially free. I would like an actually 1U server for my house for fun but cant justify the cost for new..

Raspi's are so fun to tinker with. I have a 3b+ and the 4. Amazing capability for being so tiny. I have a Banana Pi R2 as well, which is basically a gigabit router that has SATA and PCIE slots.

I can't disagree, I've been begging for cheap RackNerd HDD storage for years but I don't see it happening as they tend to focus on faster hardware! Maybe @dustinc will eventually find some dusty old Supermicros with some HGST 2-8TB HDDs that he can rack up for us.
