  FreeBSD (14.2, newest release) still works for i386/i686.
  Edit: obviously it's not Linux but similar in many situations.

  slackware still available for x32 & x64. you can check their derivatives (porteus, etc) for x32 support. use distrowatch for current update.

  Just use a i386 edition of your favorite linux distro.

  Thank you, I use distrowatch for reference but the new x86 version of linux (I tried debian based x86 isos) none worked

  For 32-bit x86-only try these:

  A couple of more exotic options:

  Just recalled a couple more suitable distros I haven't looked at for a while:

  • Bodhi Linux: https://www.bodhilinux.com/download/
  • Linux Lite (older versions): https://mirror.alpix.eu/linuxliteos/isos/3.8/ or https://mirror.koddos.net/linuxlite/isos/3.8/ or any other LL mirror
