What's your target, btw? Half a mil?

The target is to hit a number so high that it causes a buffer overrun and crashes the forum, obviously.

    Think bigger.

    THAT big??

    That's what she said.

  • Would be 512mb RAM enough to run a small seedbox using qbittorrent-nox?

  • Feelin' sassy today because I'm up too early. :p

I mean, it should work well enough to not get you banned from a private tracker.

Heheheheh yes... But I'm pretty alright in all my trackers... I want to upload on them but idk how I would do it safely. Would it be safe to upload using only my VPS IP without VPN? I tried to activate my NordVPN on a VPS and it almost died

For this use case you'll need more memory, and if your VPS is RackNerd it is against TOS to use any public trackers. Actually it might even be against TOS (technically) to use private. VPN is always advised unless using a dedicated seedbox. The TOS should tell you what you need to know.

im guessing it has to do with some of the legal gray areas they have to operate in so trying to make up some of the costs/risks there

Yeah, some providers will give you the boot even for torrenting legal things, like linux ISOs, the thing everyone memes about. It's not illegal, but the traffic appears the same, puts a lot of stress on the network/hardware, and some providers will just block all of it outright.

Yay. My video took 9 hours to transcode with ffmpeg.
I converted my video to VP9
    Original size: 1.1 GB
    New size: 240 MB
I did limit ffmpeg to 25% of 1 vCPU. My vps has 6 vCPU.

Took a long time but at last!

    I should get a VDS

Do you have the money for it? It's pretty expensive

    Ye money is the problem

2 to 3 dollars/monthly. It is possible and I know some providers, but I need a good storage and bandwidth one.

Was there an Intel CPUs giveaway?

When I sold my last Xeon I just shipped it in a paper envelope folded from a printer sheet, light and cheap. But for the Ryzen, I had to put it in cardboard box to save those pins.
