People get banned for high cpu use??? I didnt know that... Coming from Oracle cloud and their terms for free vps says one of the reasons for them reclaiming the machine is if cpu and/or bandwidth drops below 10% for extended amount of time.
Yeah i didnt realize this was a thing on vps.. it seems to be across the board though. I never really thought about it. In a way it kinda makes sense, like you dont want someone to sping a while(true) on high priority on all their vcpus. At the same time, I feel like the VM software should have some kind of built in throttling mechanism.
Soooon i hope! I wouldnt be surprised if $7 is within the range of one of their 1GB vps during a flash sale. I got a 2.5GB flash sale for an awesome deal and that seems within the realm of possiblities.
