  • @ralf
I will try to setup similar schema on sqlite3 and run tests.

    Meanwhile, here is your reference

guys someone give me a tldr im too lazy to read 5 pages, what are we talking about now? virmass bad or what

    summary of the thread

    • op bought a vps on virmache and uses nextcloud in 1.3GB RAM, killing it's swap for hours. turns out making hardware estimation isn't op's strong suit after all. op expect it's the provider vault. most nextcloud install scripts or template usually recommends nextcloud will want 4GB of RAM.
    • chaos ensues, op lost six gorrilion dollar. unwilling to pay da'hood fee $40
    • op goes waaah waaaah and think it'll fix the problem. everyone on LET already knew, it's an old news.
    • virmache bad.
    • virmache bad but their promotional packages still sells like hotcakes since LET can't help themselves (although still saying it's bad..because..it just is okay).
    • sir @vovler stating the obvious: water is wet.
    • the rest of the pages are now just cringe screenshot about windows obsessed twat that nobody cares about.

funny to see that even with virmach not active i this forum, but they still makes LET mindbroken whenever they're mentioned. In this case, IMO it's OP at fault, just a classic skill issue.

I genuinely thought their $40 abuse fee, and certain setup fee for Tokyo region is hilarious ($15 or something). A fool and his money are soon parted. my opinion is certainly biased since I used to have a JP vps with them (not anymore since last BF), so I really don't appreciate seeing the neighbor abusing the resources. if they got caught on abuse case then boot them or punish them, I want to have my vps running stable after all. and it really makes me happy that they'll come crying in LET or OGF later. the drama that keeps giving. this is why i keep going back to LET.

    just my 0.7$

  • I cancelled mine back in 2021 and moved to a solid provider. The cost has doubled, but I can do whatever I want, faire usage, not abuse.
