    Yeah, there's another one with eggs iirc but this one was first, about 2 days after the ps3 launched this picture appeared

    Oh those were crazy times..people were buying them for 10x the price from scalpers.

    Yeah, I actually got my first PS3 in Hong Kong, with 5 games, and extra controller, HD video cable and brought it back to the UK. Total price of all of that was still 10% less than the UK launch price of just the console. So, at least I didn't overpay for it!

    If you factor in the flight hotel, food etc over there, did you still come out on top? Now im thinking about doing this to acquire a telly

    Not if you count all of that, but I was travelling somewhere else via HK and spending a couple of days there anyway, so all that would have been the same cost whether I bought the PS3 or not.

    That makes sense.. Now i just need a reason to go to HK

    Its everywhere i think right? All the people from india also talk about not being able to recieve physical items even when its allowed.. Is it just electronics?.. Im surprised it would cost a lot if its an item you can get there anyway.. but maybe you cant get this stuff there? Shipping something huge like a TV is a bit different though...
