Such good deal!
The offer is still valid!
was anyone else doing this kinda shit during the flash sales ?
Robot quick payment?
Still in stock!
nah i was just blocking stuff from the checkout page that would take time to load/select & slow me down.
@rsk drop some deals sir!
real men use human fingers.
well i did use human fingers.
Oh that note, why do so many checkout pages insist on having you type "ns1" and "ns2" for nameservers even though they're not used anywhere, and having to type a hostname that's unique to their entire customer base and again, probably not used anywhere anyway as you have to type the hostname again when selecting what image to install. All that page needs is a button that says "yes yes, of course I want to buy this and I only have 0.2ms available before it sells out so I don't even care if the hostname is in klingon".
And.... breathe!
If the WHMCS panel removes NS1 or NS2 settings in the future and shifts to allowing configuration after purchase, it will be a revolution...
Yeah it is annoying.
heck racknerd doesn't ask for it.
fix yo shit @providers if racknerd can do it.. rest of y'all should do better
my all hostnames are testasdsads or asdasdasdasd. I don't even remember what I type for NS fields.
Please correct the following errors before continuing:
Corrected to read: tiolew4htioewhtiowhtiopwt.lan
Oh and the ones that want the name for the service and then have another field for optional hostname where if you literally type anything there it's "no, that's not a valid hostname". It's full on trolling at that point.
I think my favourite was in Hosteroid where there is a question on their registration page that says "Are you human" with text field that says you need to type in Yes.
Took me a minute to find out that there is a separate field and it doesn't mean the captcha. I think few people said they missed their flash sale because of this confusion.
And for bonus points doing that, it should delete the password fields "for security" so that when you fix the captcha the form submission fails and you have to do the captcha again anyway.
That's new evil level below cat and dog captchas.
welcome to the rat captchas
I can't even figure out what the
ns1andns2fields are for - I guess something related to cheap shared hosting, but I can't imagine how it would be useful during checkout. And then you have people like me where I am too "lucky" and...
type lucky and you might be lucky with that one
(boring lyrics until 0:50)
EDIT: oops that was meant for the rat thread
It's probably a sign that you need to rethink your choices before you pay over $7/y.
Please use saasdasd.lan or saasdasd.*, LOL! I did the same when placing an order under host_c.
It was with @virtono but want MOAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR
saasdasd.fat32 works too .
