Maybe stay active on the thread. Sweaters are part of the random giveaways on the thread.
Well yaa 😂
On it! Hope you're paying attention @dustinc ... Imma freeze without a sweater!
Yah, but, instead of forcibly having the customer who has decided once and for all to transfer, wait, for 5 days, without giving them to approve the transfer on the spot is just a bad move.,
Ya give my rat bro a sweater plz, but the thing is where do you live since it not in us they won't be able to ship it so that's also a thing to consider
Thanks for the tip. Will try my best.
You didn't mean me, right?
Oh yah, we don't want a rat to freeze on the
HOTTEST THREAD OF 2025
Ya I get that, that's how these companies do things when they become big since they have a sort of monopoly on the market and customers and any bad review can be suppressed by then like any person on utube mentions atleast one time hostinger as their recommended hosting or domain provider
No I was saying about sillygoose as if he was silent how would be have climbed up the rank
Honestly I could do that
Hahahahahahaha yes
then please do so 🥺🤌
Yah, I hate it. But, the fact that I hate the most about all of this was that, they didn't even take a minute to understand why the customer was trying to transfer. They just found them transferring to another registrar which had better prices. The 5 days unnecessary waiting time instead of a good offer to make the customer stay is like an unwanted penalty.
Oh yah, we used to call him Silent Killer
, obviously as a joke. The dude's actually nice, from the limited interactions we had.
Hnmm thats true they could have in fact maybe tried by reducing their prices a bit
Well it's nice to talk to and get to know people 😊
Do they have a flatulence problem and kill people with the silent-but-deadly?
Yah, they could do it. Just compare RackNerd and Hostinger's prices. You will see the heavy premium these mainstream hosts apply on their plans without providing anything to add value.
Ofcourse. This thread in itself is a social media platform for many of us.
Yeah tbh let is itself a goldmine, I was planning to buy their 2 dollar per month plan and would have had to pay for 4 years for that price lock alone and here on let even premium providers provide nvme SSD with ddr5 ram for like under 10 dollars per year that is much better than them
Oh yes, their lock-in periods are crazy as well. I agree with your take on LET as well. It's still a hidden treasure. I found it almost an year ago and was fortunate enough to land on the RackNerd thread. Prior to that, every time I needed hosting, it was a pain hunting deals down. Funny thing is, when I settled on some of the so-called "major host's" deals, I would think I had gotten the best deal possible
Yep, you feel me. I'm actually going to have to put gloves on now, my fingers are too cold in the house!
I don't know how but I landed on let due to racknerd
It's not fair to promote other providers by name in a provider's thread, but there have been some much cheaper options available if you know where to look. Obviously the $3/y and $7/y deals are crazy and limited to only a handful of people who are quick, but e.g. I picked up a very rare location for $16/y about 12 hours after the offer was posted. Keep looking around the forum, don't just stay in one place all the time and you'll find some amazing deals. Not trying to bash RN - I've had several over the years and the one I kept onto is into it's 4th year now. But it's far from being my best deal - just one that was convenient because the deals stay open a reasonable length of time.
Where are you from BTW?
I remember exactly how I came here.
UK. It was colder yesterday, but today's it's still "2 degrees feels like -2" (the first is ambient temperature measured with wind blocked, second is ambient temperature in sensor with open sides that measures the air temperature). That's 35 feels like 28 in American units.
Oh OK. TrK had like 8 degrees a few days ago in Delhi NCR.
That sounds like a pleasant summer's day for the UK!
