    The ROG Strix line? Yes they're amazing, but there are definitely cheaper options that have about the same capability. I am just a big fan of ASUS, and was able to splurge this time. Plus it was discounted from $1899.99 down to $1199.99 for Black Friday.

    Next year maybe, we will have a Strix in the pool.

    If business is good, maybe I'll upgrade and offer up my used one next year in some kinda of raffle. Would be easier to get a used model through customs I imagine!

    Our customs still charge on it may be. They do unexpected things. :D

    How do they charge in the disammbled case? Total value if put together? what is you ship a small set of pieces at a time

    Without proper documentation it's going to be a nightmare and hell lot of custom charges.

    ah, what documentation do you need? Can it just include a letter saying "this is from your friend/family" then its good to go?

    Tearing apart laptop? worst nightmare. :'(

    It's actually fairly easy to reassemble in most cases, unless you don't desolder anything.

    As long as there is no soldering, that would make it way easier

    No desoldering, and since the heatsinks are attatched with liquid metal instead of thermal paste I wouldn't even want to remove those. Just ship it as "parts" lol

    can you melt it down with a hair dryer or something?
