  Haha, no just a guess because most distros don't just go wrong for no reason!

  The reason it went wrong was that he didn't announce to us first that he used arch before upgrading something. I heard if you do that first, the upgrade always goes smoothly.

  Arch is easily breakable and KDE is notoriously known for being buggy.
