Family is family, eh.
Shutdown is the best neighbor, but that goes too far.
Thank you for sharing... something to learn new
THIS is a LowEndCDN, directly competing with Cloudflare.
Didn't have any non-NAT in Canada, now I have with u, so I'm happy boiiii
Can't run yabs on a shut down service ๐
Yeah, can't beat idlers. I have some idling but mostly from providers not up to par. > @donli said:
Yes, that's would be pushing it
not a bad Idea though.
You couod DM me if you ever wanna discuss it further. I like to chat about these things
You'd be surprised at how many people purchase VPSes and don't even bother to install them. To date, we have over 60 VMs with allocated resources, sitting for over 30 days, with no OS installed on them. Truly defining idling resources.
Show off
some just buy for the adrenaline rush

Honestly, we'd rather at least they install the OS. In the past, when someone has bought and not even installed and OS for >128 days, we ask them if they'd like a refund so we can re-provision the resources if they don't want/intend/need to utilize them. Some people simply forgot they paid for it, some had a project die, and almost all appreciate that we asked them.
Absolutely correct! They need adrenaline to quickly get over the joy of completing their order payment!
That's a very nice thing of you to do.
It's about establishing a relationship with your customers. You seem to get it. Not a lot of businesses do this day and age.
Sure. Would love to. โค๏ธ
Thanks
I think you need an OS to run YABS so ye, a different kind of idlers ๐
Now it's just 59 without an OS ๐ @SilverCreek
This is kind of wild to think of to me. I get installing and maybe just installing a monitor to see how things look over a period of time before jump into it with real-world-usage but not even installing anything???? wow.
@SilverCreek now would be the right time to drop an insane deal
+1 @SilverCreek
I think it's interesting that the closer one is to IT, the more protective one is of their family towards IT. I don't let my kids near social media, or even unsupervised YouTube. They can have curated content from a local Tube equivalent.
Some of my idlers I haven't even logged into for over 2 years. So...
Problem is that they weren't intended to be idlers, but they were bought so I could run my app backend in lots of places so latency to the phone app wasn't terrible, but I keep getting other contract work in that takes up all my time, so I still haven't actually launched the app.
PS, don't forget my 6/6/66. I promise I'll log into it at least 6 times every 66 days.
FAT32 got the KS-A just so people would envy him...
Listen to this @SilverCreek
Isn't that the best reason?
And I bet he's idling it like a pro!
