My olded 2tb drive started failing on me today, looks like I will need the replacement sooner than expected

Ah sad. What brand and model do you usually use?

    Wd blue 7200rpm

nice a classic choice. Is this a single drive setup in a PC or a nas?

My main workstation, got two 2tb wd blue, and two 1tb nvme drives

Raid 1 but i really feel like 2 backups is not good enough. I also want to get a second piece of hardware to stick drives in from a diffrent vendor on a different outlet and UPC battery backup. Im worried the nas is going to brick the drives on its own as well through some freak accident
