@tfgp99 said: This is a thing that the provider promised to configure it, even the v6 subnet has been changed since they got it from another LIR that could do the v6 rDNS (more efficient to configure).

I don't want to criticize anyone's work, but seems the support on the comercial side (.com) of @Chunkserve kinda abandoned, comparing with the polish side (.pl). :disappointed:

    Hi!
I totally know your point, but this is out of our range. We can't do if until we have everything delegated. I messaged the IPv6 subnet provider many times. It looks like we need to get it from another source, that I'm doing at the moment (already contacted and waiting for the invoice).

I updated you on ticket, that I'll do it when I have access. As far as I know, I did it to v4 instantly after I handled your case. Your server is usable, and v6 rDNS is not guaranted part of the service (in specifications). I do not see any ticket that have such long response time, and I would like to not judge the entire operation for thing that we can't change with current IPv6 space provider. I'm also a bit frustrated regarding this situation too.

@tfgp99 said: Seems the routes from The Netherlands outside are struggling as well, download speed.

I didn't see any ticket regarding that, but we do not record any issue with the download speeds on the infra. I can happily assist you asap with that, we can re-check everything :) That VPS should have 2Gbps port, but it's of course not dedicated and not guaranted - in that case, customer needs IP transit or dedicated line, that we're able to do under additional service. I just spinned up another VM to test everything, and I'm able to burst upload to 2G accross EU speedtest servers

@cmeerw said: What's with this sudden IPv6 RDNS craze here? Usually I am the only one ever asking about IPv6 RDNS - and there are sadly lots of providers who don't support that.

We will support that. Our side is configured, reverse zones created, DNSes are up and running, but until we have everything delegated, we can't use it.

It means that i will have another new subnet, right?

Unfortunately, i don't have any ticket activity since 5th of December, that is lack of feedback, i didn't even know that you'll get another v6 source :/ . After the moment that i've asked if it is possible to have it and you confirmed it to create the DNS records in my side, it should be guaranteed, no? I'm human and i can recognize how frustrating this situation can be.

As long as we can analyze the YABS speedtest result, the problem does not resides on the 2Gbps speeds, it is a download speed degradation to the Netherlands outside routes, less than 15% of 2Gbps shared speed. Nor a IP transit or a dedicated line is needed.
A ticket should be created regarding this.

Another MJJ who paid pennies and now expects the provider to go above and beyond...
@Chunkserve never advertised rDNS for v6
The provider tried to be helpful and that just made you increase your expectations even more :/

The service is pretty good for the pennies that i've spent well trusting in @Chunkserve, where i have personal works. Like i said, i'm not here to criticize, im here to help the provider to fix this kind of asides. @Chunkserve has the potential to stay on the market for a long time!

@Chunkserve you there? kindly attend to my ticket #VNI-806597 please, I am having 2 vps whenever 1 server is down and once I booted it up manually, the other server will go offline itself and vice versa, the issue is driving me nuts. I've services with other nl provider with uptime > 3 years, chunkserve server's uptime is by day/week, all these issue only leads to endless frustration.

  • I wish I had bought from another provider, I'm very disappointed. Always problems since I took control of the vps. Irrelevant ticket registrations...
    Sudden downtime..

I contacted my transit provider after report, they investigated it and didn't see any issue from their end. I also cannot see it. I moved your VM to different node (temp) and changed some network settings. Please let me know now.

@eneq said: I wish I had bought from another provider, I'm very disappointed. Always problems since I took control of the vps. Irrelevant ticket registrations...

    Sudden downtime..

Can you DM me/ describe everything in more details? :) I'll be happy to help. Didn't see any downtime, maybe it's something local. Let me know.

@pachira said: @Chunkserve you there? kindly attend to my ticket #VNI-806597 please, I am having 2 vps whenever 1 server is down and once I booted it up manually, the other server will go offline itself and vice versa, the issue is driving me nuts. I've services with other nl provider with uptime > 3 years, chunkserve server's uptime is by day/week, all these issue only leads to endless frustration.

Done ;) It was some specific case, waiting for your reply!

@Freek said: VPS was down for like 3 days, didn't pay much attention to it. Logged in to Virtualizor, only to find out the VPS was stopped? No clue why. I started it and it's running fine again.

On previous thursday there was 1 short outage regarding DC issue, maybe it was the root cause? :)

I'll be more than happy to help everyone and compensate for any issues. Again, it's 0.99-1.3$/mo price-range, but we still want to help you! If there is any issue, please message me!

yeah the price is too cheap but I hope you can solve this headache about the network soon.
Luckily, my machine quite stable for now. I need to restart the service everyday to backup so it is not much accurate.
    Keep up your work @Chunkserve

  • My VPS shuts down every few hours and I have to login to virtualizor and start it again. Last night it was down for 4 hours.

  • @Chunkserve, could you please response on ticket #EYB-247659? it's been 4 days and I haven't heard from you.
    to summerise the issue here,
    1. I'm not able to disable rescue mode. everytime I disable it log shows that it failed.
    2. since rescue mode is not disabling, i'm not even able to reinstall os.

So totally stuck since a week and cannot access my vps. could you please help asap?

    @Chunkserve
Not working, I have replied with same ticket #VNI-806597.
Yet my another machine went down again last night.

  • where are you @Chunkserve?

status of my servers, 1 unable to load virtualizor, 1 fail to start after down, and another 1 keep offline itself.

not for ipv4, in term of mac address, unable to check now because 1 of the vps cannot be started

  • Down again in the middle of the night

  • Down again for 4.5 hours in the morning. What is going on? It goes down but I can login to virtualizor and restart it. I have to babysit to keep it up.

You may check if you have a self shutdown configured. Virtualizor does have that option!
